many women like the "bad boys" because they provide an element of excitement... but bad boys tend to mistreat, use and find women disposable...relationships with bad boys normally don't last long, and they are dangerous, really.
in the meantime, perhaps you are selecting the WRONG women... there are actually girls and women out there who look at the person, not for an element of "danger". women don't ALWAYS pick rude, selfish jerks....
your "pride" is entirely up to YOU.... if you feel undignified, then perhaps take a look inside...

Obviously, there is a communication gap between the sexes because I often see these types of questions being asked of both genders.
It amazes me how much we don't evaluate ourselves....seeing ourselves as we perceive ourselves to be, as opposed to seeing the reality staring back at us in the mirror.
Women do not always pick a rude, selfish, jerk....these are not women, these are "immature girls".
You forget one thing though...."Gentlemen go for the hot, sexy, mindless twits" because winning her would boost their ego. You 'gentlemen" generally aren't going for the bookworm in the horn-rimmed glasses studying at Borders. You're looking for the sex kitten dancing on top of the bar.
So the same goes for women....and we mill around, bumping in to each other, and trying to find the 'one' that fits.

This does not make you any less of a person. It just means that she doesn't know a good thing when she has it. You will find someone that appreciates your fine qualities. Don't stress over this one. If she didn't appreciate you, then you are better off without her.

Probably the same reason that guys choose to date needy, unstable, gold-digging psychos rather than a self-sufficient woman who has her stuff together!

Yeah, do you women really know what that does to our integrity? some of us nice guys are hot. I'm starting to wonder if some girls like to be treated like garbage, that can't be healthy.
