This is funny.
I know for a fact that my ex cheated on me, but when I called him and told him I knew, he said it was all a lie.
Then after we hung up, he came to my house ten minutes later trying to talk to me about how it is a lie, but i told my dad to tell him to go home.
Why is he lying about this? Our relationship is done and over, and never will I even like him like that again, so who cares if he cheated? I just hate it when people lie.

He's lying because he can and he's trying to talk to you because he feels as if you didn't see it with your own eyes so he can still continue to lie to you and you will believe him and patch things up but sounds like his game is over.

He feels guilty! He got caught red-handed. If you know for a fact that all the information is true, than it's a done deal. Obviously, you're a strong woman and continue to be that way. Don't put up with this.....EVER.....because you don't have to and you don't need to. Not only does he feel guilty, he obviously knows that he lost something good. That's too bad, because he should have taken your feelings and emotions into considering BEFORE he decided to cheat. People lie, unfortunately, but it's just a part of life. I don't like it when people lie either. Just brush it off and continue on with your life. Like they say.....you don't know what you've got till it's gone! His loss........

He is probably lied to try to protect you. He probably really likes you and doesn't want to hurt you by admitting the truth. He might think also if you believe him that it is a lie then there still hope for the two of you. It was probably more to get his rocks off then anything else, and probably doesn't care about the other person.

How do you know for a fact that he cheated on you? Did you hear that from the person he cheated on you with or from one of their friends? Then you don't know, you heard. and most likely that girl is trying to make you break up with him so she can have fair game. but if you have another reason for knowing, then i don't know what to say. He really cares about you, i guess.

He probably feels guilty and does not want to admit even if he knows it's true (denial). Or he knows you'll go around telling people decreasing his chances of getting other girls.

He is trying to get you back. Men will do that. They want a 2nd gf incase the true one wants to leave. They feel more secure that way.

He thinks you are stupid and will fall for it. Sometimes men do silly things and then realise that they have lost the best thing that happened to them. let him wallow, there are plenty of fish in the sea.
