ok, here's the story... My guy friend Richard and I have been "talking" for about 2 1/2 weeks now and we were talking about stuff and the subject got brought up about making the first move. I am really shy and i know he is too, but i think it's more romantic if the guy makes the first move cause it shows me that he is interested in me. I told him that i didn't make first moves and i don't want to because i'm not sure that he is ready yet and i want him to do it when he is ready so i don't seem like i'm pressuring him to do it cause i want him to do it because he wants to and not because he feels pressured. We haven't held hands or hugged or anything like that yet. I'm wondering if there is something worng with me or if i'm doing something wrong. We talk about all kinds of stuff, being perverted and whatnot, but it seems like he isn't as interested as i thought he would be.Should i wait for him to or should i just go for it?

i loved a girl very much. we were in the relationship for 3 years.parents rejected our marriage. She got married to another guy. Now its 8 months after her marriage.Every min i think of her like what she is doing and how she is? unknowingly i search for her whenever iam out.Recently she called me, keeping her marriage life in view i said her not to call through out my life. It was painfull but its my duty to tell her like that.
Plz suggest me iam missing her terribly.
I known keeping busy is one of the solution but still when driving, bathing, eating. sleeping and even when iam brusing my teeths iam thinking of her.

I have been friends with this guy for about 2 and a half years. I've liked him for most of that time. Well yesterday, my birthday, I asked him out for dinner. He said he couldn't because he was meeting his friend. So I said could we go later in the week if need be. He said he couldn't because of our "work situation". Which is fine, but I'm leaving that place in july because my contract is up then. He basically said he wasnt interested because of our big age difference. (I'm 27, hes 44). But its not really about a romantic thing, its I really like him as a friend and I was hoping that even if we never got together romantically, we could still be friends since we've gotten so close. How should I talk to him about this? I am really shy and it took me alot to ask him to dinner in the 1st place. How should I go about this. Im new to the dating world after being in a really long relationship so don't knock me.

I am 20 and have lived on my own for the past 2years while going to school. I graduated and recently moved back home to live with my parents due to financial issues and I plan on moving back east to live with a my cousin. My family here doesn't approve but that doesn't mean that I'm not going to go. I plan on moving the middle of next month. The way I see it is that, I'm going to move out some day so why not now? They're just being controlling and I'm trying to atleast give them notice that I'm leaving instead of just leaving and not saying anything. I'm at a point in my life where I feel like I need my space. It's weird becuz it feels like I'm trying to get out of a relationship. I feel like I'm trying to divorce my family and they're trying to make me feel guilty for wanting to leave. Do you think I'm being selfish for wanting to leave? I don't see a problem with it, I am of age.

I have been married almost 5 years. My husband has always had a little weight problem, but about 3 years ago he let himself go. I have tried talking to him about it and suggesting exercises or diets but he tells me he just doesn't know how to lose weight and keep it off. It just doesn't seem to be important to him. I have tried talking to him about his health, his clothes not fitting, even how I have lost the desire to make love to him. He becomes very defensive and throughs things and stomps off. He sits at the computer and plays games 80% of the time he is home. You know the saying "why keep running when you catch the bus" that is how I feel he thinks. Any ideas or am I just out of luck?

do women really belive that they go through hours of making themselves look good for a man? it seems to me ladies that it is more for yourself then for your man. I personnaly don't need a women who will spend hours in front a mirror doing make up or fixing your hair. all i need is a women who I love....and anyway she dresses after that i couldn't care less, give me sweatpants and a sweater on the couch and i'm happy. if you want to get dressed up ...ok fine no big deal to me i DO like seeing it. but don't make it seem as if you did it all for me.....cause i loved you before you opened your makeup kit

Ok ladies, I have a question for you. Lets say that you were to break up with a guy that you really loved and had been together with for at least a year or so, and then say four months later or so you guys start talking and you see that he has made a lot of changes for himself and it turns out that he really wants the same things in a relationship that you do. If you're still single at the time, and you know that he has made a lot of changes to help himself and the relationship, would you regret it if you decided not to give him another chance and see where it takes you? Just so you know, we didn't have any problems with cheating or abuse or drugs or anything like, so it was nothing astronomical. So I just would really like to know if you would give a guy another chance if he has shown you that he has really made some changes that will benefit both himself and the relationship.

I am getting married by a Baptist pastor (my husband was brought up Baptist...we are basically doing this for his aging mother). The pastor has been married for 25 years...but he is definitely, and I mean definitely, is not a heterosexual man. He wants to meet with us so he can "get to know us" and make our ceremony personal. The first two times we met with him he only talked about himself....did not offer any insight into us, marriage, etc. Our next session is to discuss our "sexuality". Second marriage for both of us -I am 47 fiance is 52. I will not discuss my sexuality with this creep. I am not sure if this is a pass/fail situation and if I don't comply that he won't marry us. Anyone have any thoughts? Why does he need to know about our sex life?

I am 27, he is 22. He is an extremely good looking guy (think Raulph Lauren models!)
When we met 2 months ago, it was instant and mutual attraction. We started dating, had a very intimate time and great sex. We were close to each other,he contacted me almost every day. Suddenly i started getting upset with him for no reason and we had a bit of a fight. I suggested we split up because we need to study and because i can't handle being emotionally involved.. (we are both postgraduate students and its very stressful time for us) . He didn't want to split up, was very upset...i was upset ...we decided not to split up.
But he changed since that quarrel, became cold and distant, and we haven't met for 2 weeks now. We finally resolved the issues ( after my apology and him "taking time alone")but he isn't keen at all on seing me - he told me he is Fully booked this week. The guy is smart, do you think he is playing games or being disrespectful.. He is the one that always calls me?

My bf broke up with me over 2 months ago. I accused him of lying and it turns out he wasn't. I know - big mistake. We split for one month, then I started to want him back. We've been seeing each other for 6 weeks now; I've seen him every week (6 times), but we don't communicate on the phone that much anymore. It's like wer'e friends I guess, but I've told him I want him back. He said I have to take it slow and he's not keeping me on a string, but I think 6 weeks is a long time for him to decide what he wants. Is this too long? Do people stay split for this long and get back together or am I being too optimistic. I'm hoping that the time we spend together will increase and we'll get back together.

I am in love with a guy who was working with me. Now i have quite the company & we are serious about this, would like to get married too. But now my mum is looking for a "PERFECT" Match for me who is Mr. Perfect in all ways. She also does know about my BF being my friend & i think she also knows that I might be interested in him. She is not interested in this as i told she is looking for Mr. Perfect. She also told me not to go too close to him cos i wouldn't want to him later. Talking to her about this will hurt her & i dont want to hurt her. My BF insist on me telling my parents about this to go further as his parents have agreed to this & are not ready to support us if my parents dont agree, but i'm sure that my parents will not agree to this & i dont want to hurt them as they have gone thro enough in life & i dont want to hurt them from my end. I am confused looking for help. How do I tell my parents about by BF or how do i go about with this?

Ok So I've been dating my boyfriend Off and On for about 3 years now. Of these three years we've only been on a handful of dates. He refuses to take me to the movies. He often promises to take me out, but when the time comes he's "too tired" or "doesnt want to drive" or "low on money". Well I'm sure you response to the above information would be "why dont you take the inicitive?"

The last time we went to a movie was may of 2006 (my birthday) to see Xmen3. I drove in my car. I paid for dinner at an expensive chinese resurant. I paid for the movie. I paid for drinks.....After the movie he says "I really wish I hadn't of seen that" and continues to complain the entire (hour long) ride home....

Recently we were discussing wanting to see ghost rider.....he went with his brother.

When I asked why he could go with his brother and not me he said "because he paid and drove" WHAT?!?!

Yet again he has promised to go with me this weekend...I'm not going to get my hopes up.
