My boyfriend was writting letters to girls online and telling them that they were beautiful, and that he was single and he would be the luckiest guy in the world if he could date them. I confronted him about it, and he said it was his depression that made him do it. He said that he just didnt care, and that he couldnt control himself. I want to believe him, but i cant, is that really something that someone would do if they had depression?? we are taking a break and are just friends right now, but not even 2 min, after we broke up, he had made a new myspace and started messaging girls again, and he had changed his profile saying that he was single, and looking for a relationship. The reason why he told me that we were taking a break was to make himself better for me in the future. But he is still looking for someone else i think. should i believe him, or is BSing me???

My sister is 17 and is engaged to a 21 year old, he smokes and drinks occasionaly but is really sweet and they are in love. I know parents only want the best for their children but why are they against her marrying who she loves? and am I wrong to be happy for her when it's against my parent wishes?

right here goes,my boyfreind is ready to start a family but im not,i havent completed my degree hence not ready asyet.ive explained to him that both of us have to be prepared in order to have children we need to be financially and mentally stable..i cannot commit to this and due to this reason he claims that i dont love him enough..i love this guy more than anything but as far as im concerned i need to be absolutely stable to have children..i personally think he isnt ready..he just loves children abit too much..ive told him that a child comes with added responsibilities..its there for life.. he comes up with the most absurd excuses when i tell him "we will have children but just not now" he says ahh you should'nt be so negative,i may die before you know it,i feel im going to die , dont get me wrong i love this guy so very much...i think he is being immature and not undersanding me atall..i dont know what i should do i really love him.i hope someone here can help me..xxxxxx

ok so last night me and my boyfriend had this big fight. it didnt go over well at all. well today things seem a little better. we stayed up til 4am texting when he had to get up at 6am.lol. but that doesnt matter. so things arent going so great cuz he doesnt seem to have time for me. yeah i know he had all these priorities before i came into his life and i respect that big time. he works 5 days a week...goes to college 2 days and then is in two bands the other nights of the week. its really draining on me since i never get to spend alone time with him. the only really time i get to see him is when we pass eachother at school and it breaks my heart!! he says he loves me and all and i believe him, but he just doesnt have time. we talk everyday and hes still just as sweet as ever! but he says that things will get better in a couple weeks...i believe him. how should i continue to deal with it? were even talking about getting married.haha. help anyone?? thanks and greatly apperciated

I left a V.mail asking him to call me when it was convenient. He called me back in the middle of his grand-daughters birthday party (i didn't know it was still going on). I came right out and started blabbing about how this wasnt working, he was breaking my heart by not following thru on comitments etc. and all he said was "alrighty then, I'll call you back later, I'm at ..... party right now" and he never called back. I feel like there is so much more to hear and say but I dont want to call him to hear it. After a few hours I sent him an email explaining myself better but he hasnt replied to that either. OMG I dont know if i've done the right thing or not - long distance relations are so difficult as it is, but without him contacting me it is unbelievably stressful. Should I call him and ask to talk more or should I consider his silence his way of dealing with it and just end this relationship on that note?

Well I was with this head cheerleader for 3years and her mom made her go to camp. All girl camp. When she came back at the first day of school she had a new boyfriend and he was a new guy at the school. So then I made a bet with friends that can pickup any of these girls and turn them into homecoming queen. When I first saw this girl I thought she was just horrible. But when meet the real her she was perfect and I loved her family too. She was everything I would want in a girl. he is more than everything I dreamed of finding in a guy: sweet, intelligent, hardworking, ambitious, successful, attractive, motivated, supportive, trustworthy, etc. We met nearly a year ago at a time when my ex and I were broken up - I never in my life thought I would fall in love with anyone else, and then he came along. He is talking marriage and a family and gets very excited about it all... and I love it, I am ready to begin life with him!

Problem is we live 8 hours apart and one of us has to move. We both are very fortunate with amazing jobs. He is self-taught and I have a degree. I would have to give up the house I just bought and the job I absolutely love to be with him, or he would have to give up the job he absolutely loves and might never find another like it in my city. It would be easier for me to find a job where he is.

Neither of us have family in our cities, I only have 1 good friend here and believe there is more to life than work, am I crazy to consider?

I'm a 39 yr old guy who works full time, going to school taking 16 credits this semester and is a single dad. I asked this question not to long ago and got some good answers but was wondering if there really is something wrong with me. Every time I try to talk to a female, I have forgotten what to say or do. I have no problems interacting with females I work with but anything outside of work is painful for me. The thing of it is, is that I was in a relationship for 7 yrs and the best thing out of that was my beautiful daughter. Now 2 yrs later after my relationship has been done I still find myself alone, longing for the touch and company of a women. The biggest problem I'm having is the female not understanding that my daughter comes first and that is the bottom line. Anybody would take a back seat to her it's just how it's going to be. I don't know, why can't anybody understand that a bond between father and daughter is stronger than anything I have ever felt. Thank You

I know a 17-year-old guy who has a stressful situation at home. In the past couple of days he has sort of "blacked out" a couple of times. It's not like passing out. It is when he gets real emotional, then when he sits down or lays down, he just sort of seems zonked like he can't wake up for a few minutes. When someone tries to wake him up, its hard for him to get back awake. Is this even considered a "black out" or is it just sort of mentally shutting down?

Situation at his home is that his mom (single) has started a relationship with a man and is allowing the man to stay over to have sex with her 3-4 times a week. The house is small and the teenager is having to deal with "noise" and other inappropriate things. Also the mom is allowing the man to use her son's personal items like his razor, soap, etc. She tells her son to just "deal with it". Well, he's not "dealing with it" very well. If she finds out he talks to a counselor she will probably punish him. Any suggestions?
