It's putrid. What did you do, buy a "Name Your Baby Something Ugly" book?

You have to be kidding? With all the beautiful names they have for girls in the baby books, you choose Schnell? Do you want to give the little girl a complex when she is older? Be realistic and stop trying to be so different? May Chanel but not Schnell. That sounds like a last name not a first name. Think before you do this? It sounds terrible and sorry to say it is a terrible name.

Schnell means fast or quick in German, maybe you know already. I think it's a bit too rough for a girl, not because of the meaning but because of how it sounds, but if you like it and you can imagine how the name fits with the girl than no other oppinion is important

It sounds like Chanel (the perfume) but rhymes with smell so it's kind of awkward. It's unique but you must consider whether she will be ridiculed at school or not. I can picture "SMELLY SCHNELLY" as her nickname already.

Doesn't it mean "quick" in german? I would say it's not that pretty, if I heard it, I might think it was "chanel" which seems a prettier spelling

I like it about as much as I like CLODHOPPER.
I have a wierd name, too. Got stuck with it, but wouldn't do that to my OWN kids.
