You must be so sad, but don't give up hope. If he is an active marine, you should be able to get info on him by calling the recruitment office and start from there. Even if they aren't allowed to tell you anything, they could forward a message to him and then let him decide. You didn't talk about all the details, like whether you've never met him, or he was part of your life and then gone.

You can call or walk into any Marine Corps Recruiting Office & I am very sure they will guide you to the right places where you can find him. GOOD LUCK! I hope he's not in Iraq right now, still find out! & if he is, you can wait until he comes back or you can write him a letter. It's better to approach in person.

Every branch of the military has a locating system. I would suggest checking with a Marine base near you they should be able to help.

Take a copy of your birth certificate to your county Veterans office which will be listed in the phone book under Govt. and they most of the time will help you.

START OFF BY SEARCHING THE NET YOU WOULD BE SUPRISED WHAT YOU MIGHT FIND IF THAT DOESNT WORK START CALLING PI'S AND MAYBE THEY COULD FIND HIM.......BEST OF LUCK!
