ive had 4 open heart surgeries in my life, and i am beginning to like this guy in my class. we dont really talk much in class, but we talk a lot on aol and through e-mails. i dont know how to tell him. but do you think i should keep it a secret? or should i tell him once we start talking? i don't want to scare him off, do you think he would care?

I mean like when you see a guy, can you tell he is confident and self assured simply by the way he walks or holds his head up high or can you only truly define how confident a guy is in conversation?

What kinda things tell you instantly a guy is sure of himself and confidence?

I know confidence is the main thing girls look for when being attracted to a guy.

This guy I've been kinda with since August told me all his feelings and ideas for the future a week ago. We used to talk every night pretty much, and we have great chemistry, I truly think he could be the one but now it's hard for me to be patient.
He is a strong, tough kind of guy, but I know he's been hurt before. He knows I've been hurt too. His opening up to me makes me think he might be feeling just as strongly as I do... But then, he hasn't called me since then. He went on vacation this morning, and will be gone for a week. he decided without telling me that he's not going to stay here with me after he returns, but he says he will call. I find myself having little faith in this. I know he cares and he doesn't want to hurt me but I'm forever expecting him to be "typical". What is going on in his head? Are there any ways I can learn to be more patient? I've not been this confused in a long time.

i live with my father and he is the most short tempered defensive person ive ever met, i do nothing and i have my head bitten of me he smashes things screams and shouts if i so much ask a simple question like who lives there i cant say it to him or he would go mad and smash things, he always nagges me and gives me lectures.he always gives out about my mums side of the family which i find annoying and he never has a good word to say about anyone, my mother died 4 months ago and he is finding it hard but so am i . i am so depressed i cant live like this, i really wixh i could live with my aunt but that isnt possible, i cant tell him.what will i do?im an only child and 14 btw.lyk to day he said the key to fitness is exercise and i said ok and he lost the head, ........and he wont let me be who i want to be only what he wants me to be and he always tells me what to do and how to dress etc.i love him but i cannot live like this.

Here is my problem. My fiance' and I have been engaged for two months. Approx. two weeks after my sister and her now hubby got engaged, my dad offered her three choices for help, of which she was to choose what he was paying for. He paid for their entire wedding. He hasn't offered to help us pay for, or, pay at all for any of our expenses. Any suggestions? I've liked this girl for the longest time, ever since late 2005. We only talked and she never liked me back the way I liked her. After four months of us talking, she got angry with me and since then it's been ten months we haven't talked. I usualy get over girls quickly, but since then she's been on my mind constantly. I really miss her a lot. Sometimes we say hi, but I always had to say hi to her most of the time. I met someone else a coulpe of months ago. I think she likes me and I like her too, and we're going to the movies this weekend but I don't feel the same for her as I do for this girl. It's like she has some kind of hold on me. I keep trying to let her go but I can't help but miss her. I feel empty inside. I was once so sure I was in love with her but people kept telling me I just think I love her so now I'm unsure. But what about what I feel? I am sure that I really do care for her and I want her to be happy and what's best for her.

We've been friends ever since around 2001 but I started to like him in the summer of 2003. He went to college a year later and I haven't seen him since but we kept in touch by aim and email. He told me that he is gonna come back home for my prom in May, so he can go with me cause he really wants to go and spend the weekend with me. We've been through so much in the past and when ever the chance comes up to ask me out he gets too nervous and i dont know what to do cause if i tell him im giving up on him he says that I shouldnt give up and we should just wait and see what happens. Here's the deal. I've been really good friends with this guy for about 1 and a half years. I've always loved being around him. And I know as a fact that he liked me when I first met him, and I've heard from others that he still does. He hasnt gone out with anyone since I've met him. I was never interested in him like that before, I've gone out with 2 guys since I've met him. He's really sweet, and hes just an all around great guy. anndd... A few nights ago, I had a dream that he won his basketball game, and I ran up to hug him, and he kissed me. That's all the dream was, but when I woke up, I couldn't get him out of my head, and I still can't. I'm pretty sure I like him, and I want him to know that, because I realize now how stupid I was not to see this great relationship oppurtunity before, and I'm just hoping I'm not too late. with someone else? I loved single parenthood soooo much, now that I am with my partner things are much more stressful for everyone, regardless of the fact that i love him to death. Obviously those of you that are against single parenthood will disagree because kids "can't be raised properly without a mom and a dad present in the same house."

Regardless of all of that on a basic level single parenthood was just simply easier than doing it with someone else, but it seems not many people think that way...am I the only one?

A couple of months ago I met a guy that I’ve grown to like. We’re both attending the same small private college and commonly bump into one another throughout the week. I believe he likes me, but I’m not too sure. Last week, I asked him by email if he would help me with a paper and responded by simply saying, “Of course. When and where?” I’m not to sure this is a clear sign he’s interested in… just merely willing to help me. I’m not sure if he’s genuinely interested because he hasn’t tried to initiate any sort of “meeting”. I am acutely aware that men let girls know that they like them by asking them to meet with them, he has only attempted to ask me out once (I was busy and told him that I could not, that was the last time he tried). He has told me that he thinks I am beautiful & intelligent, two weeks ago he also spent a night with me simply cuddling even though I told him that I didn’t want to have sex anytime soon.
Should I see if he tries to intiate a meet, and if not move on?
