Ladies, can you tell whether a guy is confident before he even opens his mouth & speaks due to his mannerisms?

I mean like when you see a guy, can you tell he is confident and self assured simply by the way he walks or holds his head up high or can you only truly define how confident a guy is in conversation?

What kinda things tell you instantly a guy is sure of himself and confidence?

I know confidence is the main thing girls look for when being attracted to a guy.

Yes, you can tell by looking at a guy whether or not he is confident. Does he look put together? Does he look you in the eye--before you even speak. Does he hold his head up and walk with a purpose?

But that can all be a show--the best way to tell if a guy is confident, or better yet, if he's interesting and worth a woman's time, is in conversation. Does he mumble? Does he look at you? Does he interject humor? Can he form sentences? Does he meet your level of intellect?

Yes. I can definaltly tell if a man is confident or not before i even talk to him. First there are many ways to see this. I can usually tell by the way he looks at me, and the way he may walk past me to show off. But personally I am not attracted to show-offs. so don't be too confident! Just be yourself no matter what happens, and someone will come along!

It partly shows on how he carries himself. But sometimes this whole first impression is gone the minute you hear him say something. So it's both things really. Sometimes the confidence isn't that obvious just by looking at someone, but by getting to know them you know if it's there or not.
I don't know how to define confidence that well, but i know someone looks the contrary if they act all cocky or as if they own the world. It's just kind of being comfortable of who they are.
