honestly sometimes people answer questions just to get points--not because they really care.
another thing is that there are hundreds of thousands of questions out there---so they may not have seen it. i know that i answer questions that are on the top of the list that yahoo shows me--which are recently posted questions and i only answer a few at a time since i kind of use it to relax and take a break from studying.
it's not necessarily that u aren't asking the right questions--it could be just that nobody is seeing it because of the magnitude of them on the site.
answering a question with a good answer takes time, thought and and patience--which a lot of peopel aren't willing to put in--they may just want points and make it seem as if they answered a lot of wuestions, but in fact they didn't help the person at all and just got points for really nothing.
perhaps yahoo should redesign the way people earn points.

In most cases, if I don't have the answer to someone's question, I don't leave an answer at all. It is better to get people who understand the situation you are talking about to give good answers, then just people to leave stupid answers that make no sense to you at all.

Maybe you are just asking stupid questions that nobody has time to answer. Sorry about being harsh, but it is the truth. Or maybe no one has an answer, that can happen you know. Anyways, good luck, and keep askin'!

Try to make sure you ask questions that deserve an answer and not things that people really have no interest in answering.

Rethink your questions. Only ask questions that are interesting. There are many choices on here and we pick the ones that are interesting. No fun answering questions that are so obvious with an answer or things no one wants to hear.

Too many questions get lost in another series of questions. So, you aren't the only one.

Sincere Questions grab the interest of those who identify with the questionnaire.
