My friend and I are having a debate about downloading music. I am saying that it is illegal to download music if you haven't payed for it. Then, he says that it's not really illegal to download it for free because you're actually sharing it. He then went on to say that, "If you borrow a CD from a friend and listened to it, you still stole from the artist because you didn't pay to listen to it...the same goes if you download music from sites like Kazaa, Limewire, etc...you're borrowing it." How could I prove him wrong? Please Help!!

I was married before when I was 18 and my x husband and I had a daughter. She passed away right after she was born and we buried her in his family plot. Now that we are not married and I am re married I will not be buried in that plot and would like to be buried next to my daughter. We talked and agreed that I could move her to the plot of my choice, but I dont know how to go about doing that.

My husband had gotten into some bad trouble in our home state of WA, got me mixed up into it, and had me convinced that if I stayed I would lose our daughter. So I left to NC with him. After a year of emotional abuse and fear of being found by the authorities, I got fed up and took our daughter back to WA to face the legal trouble and get my life back together. My husband (soon to be ex-husband) refuses to come back and face his part in this mess, has felony warrant out for his arrest. He has made it clear that he will never come back. Our daughter is 3, and after being home for a little over a month, she has finally started asking me and my parents where her daddy is ("But Gampa, if you're home from work, when is Daddy coming home from work?"). I don't know how to explain to her. I don't bad-mouth him to her, I simply tell her that he is "at work". But how can I explain his absense to her if she doesn't understand the depth of the trouble he is in?

My girlfriend says the moment she fell in love with me, all the guys she thought were attractive instantly turned into just regular guys that she didnt notice if they were attractive or not anymore.

Also, when men even I think she would think are attractive walk in, she says "Nah, I don't notice him"

So pretty much i'm the only guy she notices, according to her.

Is she lying to not hurt my feelings, or is she really blind with all those other guys?

I was 23 I fell head over heels in love with an older man with whom treated me with respect and dignity. Due to my faith, I had no alternative but to turn my back on this love in my life... I did however get back in contact with him (he called me) 10 years later and we met 10,000 miles away... it was almost as if we had never parted.... the day I boarded the plane in saying goodbye, I felt my world ended... he still to this day hasn't married and vowed to me that he would be there for me "one day"... he is always in my thoughts, but, I am committed to a love lost marriage but I don't have the guts to bail... I know what I should do, but, I am scared....

What moves you out of sexual conquest mode and into keep her around mode?
I once had a guy say something like
“She challenged me to do the right thing”
~~~ He said I never challenged him. I just followed behind
him telling him how great he was... how smart... what a great athlete. Adoring him got me f/d but no relationship!
how long should you wait before getting engaged??
i've been with my boyfriend for 6 months, we have NEVER spent a night apart. we live together and are in love. my question is, when is it ok to get engaged? i dont want people to look at our relationship and think that its fake, because its only 6 months old! my reasons for wanting to get engaged now (apart from loving him to death!) is because we want to get a mining job together and i think we would have more of a chance of getting it if we were engaged and they saw us as true partners not just 'boyfriend/girlfriend' also a home loan as a married/ defacto means $70k more even though our income stays the same. i know that we will get engaged eventually, we both want kids together (it sounds crazy this soon, but we can just tell that we have found the right one in each other) and we both want to get married in the future, but is it worth becoming engaged for those reasons? i woudnt do this if i didnt love him too...
I asked this earlier..
There is a guy I like, who I've like for over a year now. We work together and see each other everyday. Nothing has happened between us, but I sense a strong mutual attraction. We're both single.Usually, things are really good between us-we'll slightly flirt, he'll be open and joking with me, etc. But once in a while, there are days when he acts completely cold towards me. Like today...when we passed each other at work, we didn't even make eye contact with me or say hi, which he usually does. Then when I saw him later, he didn't say more than 7 words to me the whole 90 minutes we were around each other. He was open and really friendly with everyone in the room except me. It seemed like he was deliberately trying to avoid me. When I left he, he didn't say goodbye or anything.
Should I give him a dose of his own medicine tomorrow, or continue on as if nothing has happened? I know I didn't do anything to make him act this way. Is he testing me in some way?
So my boyfriend and I went to a friends party over the weekend. It was going ok, but he was having too much to drink, along with his friends.
As the party was ending, I was one of the few girls left. While I was sitting with my boyfriend, he kept pulling my underwear and poking my butt with his finger. I kept moving his hand out of there, and eventually moved to a different seat. I hated it because all the boys were sitting behind me with him as well as he stuck his finger down my underwear.
When I wanted to leave, I told him I was going, and went to go get my purse. By this time, I was the only girl left. When I was going to get my purse, my boyfriend and his friends were all snickering. I figured he was being a fool. However, when I bent over to get my purse, my boyfriend came up and pulled my underwear out. Not only was it embarassing, but my butt was exposed as well, and all his friends were watching it! I surely didn't appreciate my butt being exposed to the world!
So break up?
Opposite attracts I already got that, but why do most women rejected and ignore guys who treated them with respect (whether he's fun and got confidence or not), and love and respect guys who treated them like a piece of crap? It seems like women who really WANTS and LOVES nice guys are very scarce. If that's the way god planned it, then so be it. More money and freedom for me.
P.S.- No, I'm not a virgin. Yes, I had been in the relationship before. I just want a really nice, honest, and truthful answer. (if possible)
THANK YOU (^_^)
Is this looking directly at me thing good body language for "I want to know you better!" He does this all the time and has this sexy, sleepy look on his face.
I just read this in an article...
#6: He gazes at your face.
That’s instead of your décolletage, the mirror behind your head, or the 16-ounce porterhouse on his plate. “A man who focuses on your eyes when you’re talking may be looking for a deeper connection,” says Daniels. “By paying particular attention to your face and therefore giving himself the ability to pick up your verbal and non-verbal cues, he’s telling you that understanding you is important to him.”
