I have no idea what to do, I love the girl cousin to death, she's almost 13 and very fun to be with...I enjoy letting go and just becoming a kid with her. I'd like to take her out more and let her spend the night to goof off, things she will remember about her favorite older cousin. The problem is, her brother who's 10 is a spoiled brat, his mom babies him and tells him how cute he is (even when he's in trouble.) Because of this, he demands everybody's attention and throws a fit when he doesn't get it. Plus he constantly bites and pesters the girl...and she gets in trouble for it. I can't take being around him for longer than an hour..how do I take her out shopping and be with her more without hurting mommy's boy and his mommy?

My bf and i have totally different tastes in music.... he likes metal.. and i am more of a hip hop kinda gal... well newayz... i have learned to like his music, but he makes very little effort to like mine... he says that rap is ignorant etc...... even our styles in dressing is different.... its like we are complete opposites... but yet and still we are happy.. just when it comes to the music issue.. there is a little problem.. sometimes i just dont want to hear all the screaming and stuff that is in his music.... what i think is that if he really loves me he should try to understand my music the same way that i understand his.... do yall forsee a major problem in the future with this issue???

I am expecting my first child, and my husband will not tell his family. A friend I ask tell me reasoning is because 'Spanish culture is old-fashioned' to me this is not a good answer. I love his family, I talk to my mother-in-law very often. Why will he not tell is family about our baby? (his mom knows about her ex-husband's child, and not her future grandchild!)

He always wants to hold my documents, read my mail, and know what I talk about to my family.

He says he will take my child if I leave him. (the child e does not want family to know about)

When he isn't at work he demands I go EVERYWHERE with him or he disappear for hours on end to punish me.

He always points out he is the ONLY person I have in this country, and that I'm all alone.

I'l be married 24 years on the 19th of Feb but always thought New Year's Eve was the worst when single. But as for me, husband out of town, had a physical today (ugh) and got a phone call and a card from him. So being married doesn't necessarily mean it will be a "special day" so don't feel bad singles! Question as above.

There is this guy that I met him the first day at a new school, and he was so sweet. We became friends and well I found out he was moving away, and during the short time that I went to school with him I started developing feelings for him. Turns out his last day was 2 days before Valentines day. Well one day after school he told me he needed to talk to me. We were walking down the hall and he took me in to the stairwell and said since im leaving soon I wanna give you your Valentines day gift early, and he kissed me. Well when he moved away we talked a few times but then lost touch. Well I thought that I had totally forgotten about him. Then he contacts me, and ALL of them old feelings that I worked really hard to forget came back. Well turns out he is engaged and me and his girlfriend are friends now. It like sucks because like the feelings started coming back. But im trying so hard to push them away because I don't want to mess up my friendship with his girlfriend. WHAT SHOULD I DO???

OKAY...so me and this guy have been good friends forever and i guess he's always had a thing for me but never took it seriously until now...and both of us our falling for each other. We crossed the "kissing" boundries and now he's been giving me sweet little gentle kisses on my neck. Also, he gives me little kisses on the tip of my nose and starts "laughing" - what does this mean? - the kiss on the neck and nose?

PS: yeah dude, this is DAY 2...yesterday was when we "broke the ice" in kissing - we makeout but not like crazy...

Wife admitted it was a mistake and is truly sorry for hurting their family. It was a one time thing only not an affair. Should he keep her because its cheaper, or loose everything and the kids plus 1/2 his paycheck for the next 12-14 yrs? He found a great new girl but wont be able to take her out often. He would rather be with the new girl. He loves the kids to death and doesn't want to loose the house for their sake, but can't afford to buy her out. If he stays for the kids, can he forgive? He's afraid to leap after the new love because he knows that means losing everything, and he wont be able to get it back if new love doesn't work out. What would you do?

I am, by nature, really shy. I'm not used to talking loud unless I'm really comfortable with select people. Sometimes when I am a bit more outspoken or louder around certain people they act like I'm weird. Is it possible to change from shy to outgoing? Sometimes I'm really unhappy because I'm so shy because a lot of my friends aren't, but when I try to be social I feel like I always mess up. I really wish I was more social and comfortable with myself but I'm really not. What should I do?

My ex broke up with me when I moved away from college and said I need to enjoy my college years (i moved 3 hours away and am 7 years older). He says he still loves me all the time and that we will get back together and live a beautiful life. How then is he ******* some other girl in the meantime? Can guys get pleasure from a girl when they are in love w/someone else?

I met my boyfriend last year when I was a freshmen in college and there wasnt anywhere to sleep so we slept in the same bed in my dorm (didnt do anything, just sleep) before we decided to date. Then we dated for 6 months but he recently started school and said he had too much on his mind so we just take it easy for awhile. Well this weekend he's visiting me as friends and it is a 7 hour drive which he would never do so thats confusing and he said 'oh but make sure you get sheets cuz im sleeping on the couch'. We have had sex but that just confuses me cuz we are still close and if he could sleep in my bed before we dated why is he against it now? I was thinking maybe he would be tempted to want to have sex or something but I am perfectly fine with just sleeping since we are just friends now. Anyone know?

There's a girl at my school who I think likes me. It seems like she has been trying to be around me more often lately, doing things such as sitting with me at lunch and asking for help with Physics during our spare block. She seems to be paying more attention to me also. For example, today at the start of our spare block she made the observation of how I was pretty quiet earlier in Physics. Later on, another girl came to the table and they were talking. During their conversation, it seemed she was letting off choice bits of information (like that she was single, that she'd like a nice guy). She also asked me whether me and my two other friends were single (which I am). I'm sure she was trying to assess my situation. She got a carnation today as a joke from one of her friends who had put a guys name on the tag. She indirectly made it really clear it was a joke and not from an actual guy.

So I'm fairly sure she likes me, and I definately like her. What kind of move should I make?

blogged about it, got dumb responses.

"You can't define it." --Hey, how can you tell that you're in love if you can't define it? How can you tell that it exist? I mean, at least God has a basis for existence. But the person countered with "You can't explain God, does he exist?" (it was a catholic school, everyone was catholic, including me)

"Love is life, and life is love. Love is beautiful. Everybody needs love to exist."-- WTH was that. That wasn't an explanation or a definition, it sounds like a freaking quote from a dating game show.

"Love is not the same as a crush, love is something bigger." -- But, you can't tell why. Sounds like an exaggerated crush to me, then.

"Love is affection, commitment, and lust combined." --IMO it's not dumb at all. But it sound like someone grouped the three and named it.

Happy Valentine's Day. I know there's probably someone out there that can give a rational answer, but there's probably gonna be a lot of people giving novel-ish melodramatic crap
