There's a girl at my school who I think likes me. It seems like she has been trying to be around me more often lately, doing things such as sitting with me at lunch and asking for help with Physics during our spare block. She seems to be paying more attention to me also. For example, today at the start of our spare block she made the observation of how I was pretty quiet earlier in Physics. Later on, another girl came to the table and they were talking. During their conversation, it seemed she was letting off choice bits of information (like that she was single, that she'd like a nice guy). She also asked me whether me and my two other friends were single (which I am). I'm sure she was trying to assess my situation. She got a carnation today as a joke from one of her friends who had put a guys name on the tag. She indirectly made it really clear it was a joke and not from an actual guy.

So I'm fairly sure she likes me, and I definately like her. What kind of move should I make?

Nothing to say but what are you waiting for? I would definitely ask her out, tell her you like her, or at least get to know her more. Odds are that you won't lose anything from trying. Flirt like crazy, too. She seems like she really wants you to be sure she's single and looking - AT YOU. Hang around her often. Dude I'm jealous, you have fun k? good luck

Call her. Get together with her outside of school. Movie? Dinner? Uh, get her a belated Valentines Day gift of some sort - keep it light and a joke; she seems to be interested and have a sense of humor, both good things. Nonetheless, get her outside of school and alone. If this is not possible, the get the group of freinds she was talking about together and hopefully the two of you can get some time together. Though, the more direct approach is much more effective. You go in tomorrow and ask her for her number, and call her one on one. Make this happen and make your move quick. She WILL lose interest if no move is made...and you know this.

turning on the charm could be part of a romantic strategy, and emotional resolve may crumble in favor of satisfying lust, desire or revenge. The attraction or release may seem sweet at first, but it could backfire, resulting in remorse or anger. Make a conscious effort to see beyond the moment or control your passions, otherwise you may end up feeling dissatisfied. You don't have to be sexual to feel valued.

Talk to her. Talk to her about your feelings and how you would like to be in a relationship with her. Then ask her to go steady. [:
