im a girl and i think its ok, not really a big deal. its a big money maker but in some cases it gives you a chance to show how much a person means to you, altho you shouldnt wait to do that one day a year. and sometimes it causes uneccesary fights when you dont get your other half a gift and all her friends get one. it has its pros and cons, just depends on the individual. most girls love it and altho they say they dont want a gift, they do. girls get over hyped about it. thank goodness it is only once a year hey

I'm sorry, but I just don't get Valentine's Day. Why must one day be set aside for lovers, husbands and wives, boy and girlfriends to acknowledge each other. I know the card and flower companies are making a killing, but other than that, what's the point? Be nice to me every day, surprise me occasionally, and I will make your life worth living. I don't need Hallmark to tell me that on Feb. 14, I need to tell my love that he is the most important part of my life. I tell him often and show him daily. Besides, that $100 he saved today on roses that will die in about a week will go a long way on buying rose bushes for our garden this spring

I don't think it's a big deal. To me, everyday is valentine's day and that shld be the way. Another thing, a fool will only celebrate it on valentine's day cos everything is sooooooooooo expensive!

Valentines Day is for the Business men... to earn $$ for flowers and teddy bears. It's the only time of year that they earn so much $ on these cheap 'flowers'. For me, every time i meet my bf is a Valentine's Day for both of us.
