my friend lives in this apartment by herself...she lives kind of in a townhouse though and she shares a front porch with some next door neighbors. At night though she says lately she has reported a man with a flashlight/ or she describes it a floodlight out side her window. She said that is can happen somewhere around 2 am in the morning. She calls me up on the phone all freaked out and stuff the next day, wanting me to help her. She says that he only shines the light in the window for a couple of minutes and then leaves immediately. She also said that its only occasional when he does it, one time she said it happened once in a month and then he didn't come back untill the next month. Should she call the police? I am starting to get stummped, it dosen't sound like the guy wants to break in....but I just dont know anymore.

You guys were great with my last questions, so I need your help one more time....Just wondering...why is it that women are judged so hard when they have mulitple sexual partners in comparison with men? And if you happen to be a woman who has a "reputation" what's the best way to get rid of it, besides going for mono-dating?

SO this might be a little long and wierd but hear me out please.
Ok im 13 and my mom is so cruel.We [I] have been going through some realy hard promblems.

You can skip this part if you want but its important

1)the greatest disastar so far is that my parents onwnd a bissnuess and it got burned down and that was there dream there everything
2) my mom receantly got in a crash badly
3)there was a dance this Friday and she did not let me go for a very stupid reson -she did not listen to me


well there is more but the point is that she is talking it all ou on me
this Monday(tomorow) e and my friends WERE giong to the mall to take pics. and just becuase I took a rest of my chores she cancled it becuase she was the ride and now I ahve to tell my friend that its cannceld after about 3 weeks of planing I hate that

Can you please cheer me up by telling me your personal MOM problems and telling me what to do about my mom??

when he talked to me after so long he told me that he has quit drinking and will try to quit it completely, i was quite happy but again when sometimes he start drinking when he is with his friends, his female friend told me i can change him with care and concern, tell me what should i do to make him feel i really care for him and i dont want him to spoil his health by drinking??

My girlfriend has been having really bad night terrors lately. She'll go to sleep and in a couple of hours will sit up in bed staring straight ahead, with huge frighten eyes, sobbing repeatedly, "Noo ple-ase get them off" Scratching at her skin as if something was on her. I try to comfort her but this just makes it worst... she'll try to get away from me and starts to cries harder “N-o, please get them off me! D-on’t touch,” I continue holding her even as she’s fighting me, I’m afraid if I let her go she may hurt herself. When she does calm down and falls asleep, she has no recollection of her night terrors.
Is this normal, will it pass?
What should I do?

My boyfriend has gone from telling me that he loves me, wants to spend the rest of his life with me, wants me to live with him, that I am "the one", that he has waited his whole life for me, that I am the best thing that has happened to him, I met his sone and ALL his family, and so forth, to ending it and not really telling me why. He said he has some issues to deal with and wants to do it alone, but then he emailed me and wished me luck for the future, he'll always cherish our time together and I touched his life. He won't speak to me or give me a straight answer. WHAT'S HAPPENED????????

a while back i wrote a letter to this girl im friends with, telling her that i have feelings for her. looking back, the letter was a trainreck, i was pretty much praising the ground she walks on (dont think there was hardly any 'confidence' in the letter at all) she said that she dosnt want to risk our friendship. ive gotten over it, but now i can tell theres an uneasiness between us. shes a really good friend i dont want to lose her, shes really nice, we used to be practically crying when we hung out we make each other laugh so much. if friendship is all i can have w/ her id be glad to have it, but idk if i ruined that. should i just not say anything and hope that time will fix everything, or should i tell her somthing like 'i didnt mean to put u on the spot like that i hope we can just make everything the way it was before'? idk what to do! any and all advice will be greatly appreciated, thanks.
also fyi it was about a month ago i gave her the letter, weve been friends for about 3yrs

The older I get it seems to me that men are more interested in dating a women only if she looks good and intelligence is a bonus as opposed to being the most important thing. I am 35 years old and a high school teacher studying for my masters degree in history and when I tell men that they seem not want another date. So, here is the question, I am wondering if men are afraid of intelligent woman dislike intelligent women?

My boyfriend told me that he loved me even before we started dating. I never said I loved him back until a while after he told me. A month into our relationship, we got into a fight over small things. I felt like he was neglecting me and being unappreciative so I broke up with him. But then days after we broke up I asked him if he wanted to work things out because if we love eachother we should be able to solve our problems. But he told me he doesnt even want to be with me anymore and that he doesnt want to try and work things out. I dont understand, if he loved me, wouldnt he want to at least try to work things out? We didnt even break up over anything that huge, it was a misunderstanding and confliction of emotions. Dont people who love eachother find a way (or at least try to find a way) to work things out? I feel like he never really loved me and that he just said he did to please me so that I would give him a chance. I feel used.

I am Vietnamese and the girl of my dream is Caucasian. She is in some of my classes and I talk to her sometimes and she loves my jokes. I think i fell in love with her because she have that bliss classic beauty that every guy wants in a wife and when i say that she is not hott but she is beautiful. I know she's too good for me and only another caucasian can date her and marry her but I want to change that. She lives five houses down from me and own a beagle dog and I brought the same dog (My dog name is Oliver) just last month I purposely walked my dog by her and she bought her dog out and they began to play like boyfriend and girlfriend dog. We are both 17 years old and love our dogs. Her ex-boyfriend cheated on her because she wanted to wait til marriage to have sex and I told him to dump her and he did because he doesn't deserve her now she is vulnerable but I don't want to take advantage of that because I respect her too much. I have a friend who jst got married... About 5months back.. Her relationship with her husband is pretty good.. But recently she have realised that she likes her boss.. Not in a lustful manner but she admires the way her boss speaks to the staffs, his principals, the way he talks in a meeting and the way he takes care of his wife(Like buying her roses and going overseas with her).. I'm 14, have a strong resentment towards my parents, because they were too harsh when I made some mistakes. It's been so for more than a year. My sister is married to a nice Indian guy. He turned out to have Hepatitis C. She insisted he get treatment before they had kids. But the guy had no savings and she had to apply to chartiy institutions to get his treatment, which he's getting now. However this expensive treatment might have to be repeated a few times in his lifetime and she is interested in saving money for it, in case they need it the next time. She works too and manages their finances. But this guy insists that he wants to send a large amount of his montly income to his parents' back in India. His parents live with their 5 sons and their wives and children in a big house and all the sons work and contribute to the household. Her husband's brothers didn't help him financially when he was in need. My sister insists that she doesn't live in that setup and doesn't intend to...so why should her husband send money to his parents (who really don't need it). She argues with him but he keeps insisting, what should she do?

well i asked her out and she said i'll think about it and then after a week her friends told me she said no. 3 weeks ago my ex-bf called me & asked me to go see a movie with him. The weird thing is that HE was the one who dumped me, we only dated for one month AND this call came after one year. I said yes, he picked me up, then as soon as the movie was done he drove me home. It felt kinda rushed, on the drive home when I asked him why he wanted to see he said, "I wanna see you every once in awhile". We never had sex cuz he knew that I wanna save myself for marriage. During this year although he never asked me to see him, he did talk to him on msn. Is he stringing me along & what does he want? He's 26 while I'm 21.Some say he wants sex, but he knows my beliefs and he can get anywhere since a lot of girls put out. He could still have feelings for me but why won't he just ASK ME OUT again? Not ask me to “hangout” but I mean why won't he ask me to be his gf again, to really date again? I mean he's 26, he's graduating from grad school, gonna get his MBA degree & he's strating a job in June. It seems like he wants to settle down but why won't he just ask me out? What the hell is his deal?

Its a bit confusing can any one out there solve my confusion?
after thinking a lot we both decided to meet, he knows i am a very reserve girl therefore he also brought his female friend with himself, we were in car we had a good chat we had icecream and after an hour i was back home, it was so nice to meet him , but he did not expressed anything when i came back home, his friend gave somany compliments you are so cute , your hair cool, but he didnt. he called me that night to talk, the other day also but didnt talk any thing about the meeting, even when we were talking on phone last night , i told him i am depressed a little beggar boy was crying on road he laughed and said may be he saw you he was scared and laughed, i am confused does he likes me or is he confused?? he calls everyday.
