I am in the process of getting a divorce from someone that lives there we have been married since 1992 and have been living apart but visiting frequently. how do i find out the laws there in order to know how to file my divorce in oklahoma?

I live in Oklahoma and the only thing I know is that it is a no fault state....meaning that no matter if the spouse cheated, was abusive, etc., assets will be split evenly. Here is a link to a website about Oklahoma divorce laws that should be extremely helpful.

The question I have is were you married there? If not then you need to check with the state you were married in.
