when he talked to me after so long he told me that he has quit drinking and will try to quit it completely, i was quite happy but again when sometimes he start drinking when he is with his friends, his female friend told me i can change him with care and concern, tell me what should i do to make him feel i really care for him and i dont want him to spoil his health by drinking??

You *CANNOT* change a person.

That's all there is to it. You can love a person, care for a person, and want their liver to be healthy. But you cannot make that person change their life. Trying will only lead to resentment and resentment leads to bad relationships.

The only thing that you can do dear, is to tell your special person your concerns. Tell him that his drinking worries you and that you want him to be healthy. Tell him that you want to be with him. But you also *must* tell him that should he continue to drink, you will leave. There can be no other solution.

Alcoholism is not a joke. It can destroy your life and the lives of others. So, even though you care for this guy, please dear, care about yourself more. He may be a great guy, but if he chooses the bottle over you now, he will do so throughout your relationship.

By being there for him every step of the way in his recovery of being an alcoholic. You should seek professional help for him and be there for him also tell him how you feel. You feel proud of him and he should know it by you telling him this it would encourage him with your support.

theres nothing you can do i am in the same shoes now he will quit when he gets ready just like mine said i know it hard but you can do it if you really love him
