You guys were great with my last questions, so I need your help one more time....Just wondering...why is it that women are judged so hard when they have mulitple sexual partners in comparison with men? And if you happen to be a woman who has a "reputation" what's the best way to get rid of it, besides going for mono-dating?

well it is hard to change peoples opinions of you once the impression is made, change your behavior and maybe others will eventually notice that you arent.. or be more private.. or maybe move, start over.

Well actually the reputation is a great way to know you're not going to end up with guys you don't want. The ones who really pursue you might be only interested in one thing. Some guys aren't going to care though and they aren't going to push for anything. I'd try to find them.
I say just wait for the rumor to die, people are going to believe what's juicy and want to spread it around. Just don't do anything you'd consider to be "slu*ty" and you shouldn't have a problem.
I think women are judged more harshly because of just tradition, guys are known to be more promiscuous or indescriminate sexually whereas women are viewed as pure and not powerful in that manner. When a woman has been around a few times people are quick to judge, even if they've done the same or worse.
Remember though, if you let things like that roll of your back they'll stop using them because they only do it to bring someone down and make themselves feel good. Good luck.

Unfortunately we will always have the double standard. When you date, no matter what happened in the past, show that the reputation is not justified. Don't give in so soon. Date without sex (if that's what you want). Guys talk. Word will get around that you're not as easy as others say you are. Once that happenes, they may not believe the stories others tell about you. And don't admit to anything. Don't lie. Just be evasive if you're ever asked about your sex life. What you did before is your business, no one elses.

Honestly, stuff the "bad reputation" thing altogether. Society is so quick to brand a girl ... but like you said, what about the guys that have multiple sexual partners.
Unless you really are sleeping with everything that wears pants - don't pay any attention to the name-calling and just be sure that you always keep yourself and your sexual partner safe.
Other than that, enjoy your healthy libido girl.

Also seriously girls always say why is it wrong for a girl but not a guy, but i don't know many good girls who would date a guy who does that either. They just call the guys by different words.

Women are judged more harshly, because they are held at higher standards. Take this:
(man) You can use your pencil over and over and over, and it gets used up and knicked and over a long period of time becomes small and unusable
(woman) If you get a sock and pass it around to different guys and it goes around and around, people have different size feet, and after a while the sock is loose and smells.
You can only move to get rid of that rep. Or wait it out and you might get lucky (no pun intended)

stop dating & sleeping around for a while and maybe it will get around that you are no longer doing all of that. I doubt the news of this will spread as fast as the news of you being a slut. Hope this helps ya out :)
