3 weeks ago my ex-bf called me & asked me to go see a movie with him. The weird thing is that HE was the one who dumped me, we only dated for one month AND this call came after one year. I said yes, he picked me up, then as soon as the movie was done he drove me home. It felt kinda rushed, on the drive home when I asked him why he wanted to see he said, "I wanna see you every once in awhile". We never had sex cuz he knew that I wanna save myself for marriage. During this year although he never asked me to see him, he did talk to him on msn. Is he stringing me along & what does he want? He's 26 while I'm 21.Some say he wants sex, but he knows my beliefs and he can get anywhere since a lot of girls put out. He could still have feelings for me but why won't he just ASK ME OUT again? Not ask me to “hangout” but I mean why won't he ask me to be his gf again, to really date again? I mean he's 26, he's graduating from grad school, gonna get his MBA degree & he's strating a job in June. It seems like he wants to settle down but why won't he just ask me out? What the hell is his deal?

i think he loves himself most. he likes u and see u as a very close "friend" coz u were his ex, so he knows u wont hurt him and wont say NO to him, so he feels safe with u.

he is getting settle down and he currently doesnt have any girl to chase, so when he feel need someone just be with him,he will think abot u,its not love, just feeling comfortable with u.

so either wait for him properly settle down or give up thinking he will ask u OUT again. coz now he is quite satisfied with his condition.

If all you are doing is having a good time - then hey, isn't it the women that use the line 'We can at least still be friends'? If you have nothing better to do, what does it matter? If he's only a friend and not a boyfriend then leave it at that. There are other guys out there you can date too. Your hanging out with him, your not dating him so why read too much into it? Don't let feelings rise up that do not need to be there or you might get hurt. If you find that that is the case, then you gotta take the issue up with him so you know whether it should stop or continue before you get hurt.

It could be that he regrets dumping you. If he doesn't ask you out, you might as well just ignore his hints and assume that what he's saying is true, that all he really wants is to see you every once in a while. If you don't have feelings for him anymore, it's a waste of time to worry about it. If he really wanted you back, he would say it. And if he doesn't...well, at least you'll know that he wasn't meant for you, and you'll be able to continue looking for the person who is.

what kind of beliefs do you have? if you're christian you should know that God will only honor the relationship if you date/marry a christian/saved bf/husband. it sounds like he just wants to be physical with you. just go out on a date that you can talk, not be alone were it's dark. tell him that you don't want to be strung around. real men will tell you how they feel and will lead the relationship. just because he's 26 does not make him mature. pick up some chrisitan books about dating/courting. check out boundless.org. peace.

He is at a pivotal point in hid life where after finishing school he will start working to pay off school debts and maybe he is not even thinking of marriage at this time he might want to secure his finical position before pursuing a wife...as for him not asking you out just give it time maybe after a while you will find out that you are not into him as you thought.
