my friend lives in this apartment by herself...she lives kind of in a townhouse though and she shares a front porch with some next door neighbors. At night though she says lately she has reported a man with a flashlight/ or she describes it a floodlight out side her window. She said that is can happen somewhere around 2 am in the morning. She calls me up on the phone all freaked out and stuff the next day, wanting me to help her. She says that he only shines the light in the window for a couple of minutes and then leaves immediately. She also said that its only occasional when he does it, one time she said it happened once in a month and then he didn't come back untill the next month. Should she call the police? I am starting to get stummped, it dosen't sound like the guy wants to break in....but I just dont know anymore.

You can never be too safe tell your freind to report this to the police, because there should be NO reason why a man with a flashlight be nosing around someone's house WITHOUT the intention of either breaking in or raping the victim inside.

Your friend should call the
police every single time
that guy shows up.

She doesn't know him-
she doesn't know what he wants-
BUT guaranteed-
Any man sneaking
around at 2am shining a
flashlight into a single girl's
apartment is up to no good.

The next time this happens,
and she calls you-
If she won't call the police-
Be a good friend-
and call them for her.

she needs some motion sensor lights out there and a dog in the house, doesn't have to be a big dog but one that makes noise. and yes she should report it to the police each and every time. it could be nothing more than a neighbor trying to start their car but ya never know.

Call the police and get the activity documented---it can't hurt right?? also maybe a sensor light on her front porch so this person is startled

She should get some heavy drapes, and call the police. Also she could try a spy camera outside the door, hidden, so she can get video evidence.

Definitely call the police right away... the man could get scarier and scarier, more obsessed. Soon he could get to the point where he wants to enter the apartment, for unkown (and very scary) reasons. Don't let it get there!

Tell her to call the police immediately. There is no telling what this person is planning to do. Videotape the light if possible.

thats some scary crap. I would def. contact police or nieghborhood watch or something. thats effin' creapy. people regardless if they arent trying to break in arent suppose to shine lights in your house. does she have an office building in her townhouse place? I'd contact someone. that guy might be looking for familiar actions so he can break in or do something worse to your friend.

oh my gosh that's so freaky! it's probably not a police cuz they don't check in people's houses like once a moth. tell ur friend to report him and try and have a video or something to record him. i hope everything goes alright.

I say she call the cops without her neighbor knowing. Good Luck!
