What did he mean? Does he mean I am ugly?

And why would everyone in LA look like me? I've never been to LA. Besides, I have dark brown hair. And it's long.

I need help with a situation that I am in at the moment. I have this guy I really like and he is 44 and I am only 21. I have slept with him a cuple of times. But he tells me he needs space. I have had a problem in the past that has led to him changing his number. He changed his number and another friend gave me this, but I am not sure how to deal with the problem.

My question is, how do I give him space? I have had problems with giving him space in the past which led to arguments. Dont say just do it. I need other alternatives to how I can get him out of my mind and move on. How do I get him out of my mind? How???

I was best friends with my friend for about 5 years. We were like sisters. I told her everything. Well her one rule, I guess you would call it was not to sleep with her brother. Well I thought that was fine, because I was never interested in him. Then one night we all went out, got messed up. I ended up staying at her bro's house when everyone else left, one thing led to another, and before u know it, I was freaking out, because I knew what I just did. Well I kept hanging out with him, I didn't want her to find out, then we kept seeing each other, we were kind of just friends with benefits. Everything was great until she found out through her mom. now she just cut me off completely. I kind of don't blame her because she let me know from the get go, but I think it's so childish. i don't know what the big deal was. I could see if I dogged him, but we ended with mutual feelings. She still won't talk to me, and I miss her. Like I said, she was like my sister. How do I mend our friendship?

My current college roommate and I have been friends for over 4 years now. We have always gotten along great until recently. Her boyfriend has been bothering me a lot lately and he wont stop when both her and I tell him to quit. My roommate and I had a big talk on the fact that I cant stand her bf and I worry that it made her mad at me. I have really tried to just deal with her boyfriend and all the crap he does. I honestly cannot stand him and feel miserable every time he is around. I think this has driven me away from my roommate and I'm honestly looking for new people to hang out with. Any suggestions on how I should deal with this?? I have already talked to her about it but I dont think he will stop acting the way he does.

When we first started going out, everything was going so great. He is a wonderful guy and everything but for the past few weeks, our love life fizzled out and things have gotten in a boring routine. Lately, whenever I talk to other guys I start feeling this strong physical attraction and I even made out with this one guy. I have been so consumed not sure what to do. Now when my fiance tries to be intimate with me, I don't really want to do anything with him. The only way I feel good kissing him or anything is thinking about the other guy. We are both going to the same school so it would be very hard to avoid each other. We even had plans to move in a place together and everything. I just feel like we're moving too fast.

My friend met him online. When they met in person she checked his id to prove his age. She says she's just getting her "groove back" but I think she is making a mistake. I even think he is too. He is in college. I often ponder on their connection. Maybe it's not my business to worry about other grown folks. But to me I see him as a child. What do you think?

My husband and I aren't sexually active anymore. It has been 10 years. My friends all say he is cheating. I have caught him emailing and talking to other women but he denies anything physical. Things finally blew up this May when I caught him emailing a former student from the eighth grade who is now a Dr. and 44years old. I exploded. It is so offensive to me. Sickening with a former student, even though she is 44. I wanted a divorce, but haven't yet, mainly I don't want to be poor. I use to try to initiate sex but don't anymore. I have some pride. Plus this last situation makes my stomach turn at the thought of us being together again. I guess I am also wondering if there are people out there in my situation.

Seeking authentic answers . . . not crast ' obvious ' answers.. I'm 40+ age range and when coming to know a guy the guy seems interested in me personally yet at times it's revealed that he is really only interested in sharing a sexual relationship.

I may be mutuallly attracted to a guy that way . . . yet I don't care to share with him in that manner as I want to come to know him personally first.

Socializing and kisses are fine to share...Yet, I've found myself in situations, while kissing a guy, that it seems clear that he wants to share more after having only gone out 4 or 5 times.

Suggested phrases / conversations to have with the guy to let him know you still want to know him personally...yet more intimate touching is not something that is sought out on dates ?
Keep to public dates ?
If I go to his home or my home how to keep on the 'safe side'.
Does a guy assume that when at his or your own home that it's a signal from a woman that she is open to the thought of sex ?

I am 30 years old with a 4 year old kid, and have been married for 4 years. I became engaged to my husband only 3 months after we met. When I met him, I was rebounding from someone else, and was hooking up with several guys. He wanted to take care of me and I let him.

He is a good person, and his world revolves around me. He treats me like a queen and is 100% committed to me. However, I was NEVER really sexually attracted to him. In the last 2 years we have had sex 4 times. The counselor says I can "choose" to become attracted to him, and "grow passion". I have tried, I have tried everything :( How long shall I try? Forever? I am his first love, and he would wait forever for me. He says he would rather live in a sexless marriage with me, than us get a divorce. But, I can't help but feel deep within myself that we both deserve a marriage that isn't just a friendship.

Is marriage EVER a mistake, or should I continue to live with the hasty decision I made?

I have seen this guy around school. When I first walked passed him, I noticed at the corner of my eye that he was staring at me (my face, to be exact.) I looked back at him, and he did not avert his gaze. A couple of days later, I was walking with my friend and telling her about him, then suddenly, he walked passed us! My friend said, "THAT'S HIM?!" sort of loudly, so I'm guessing he probably heard us.

And now, whenever we walk pass each other, I noticed that he'd look straight ahead, then when we're a foot from each other, he'd glance at me for a couple of seconds, then look away. (I saw this at the corner of my eye)

Does he think I like and stalk him? (which I don't!)
Does he think I'm attractive?
What exactly is he thinking?
Next time, should I maintain eye contact and smile?

We don't know each other at all, if that helps.

If I talk about another girl, or look at another girl or even talk to another girl, my girlfriend thinks I'm cheating on her. Friday at school I was talking to a girl in the hall because she wanted to know what we had for homework the night before, because she was away and we are in the same Science class. Whe I was done talking to her, My girlfriend came up to me and kept asking me why I was talking to that girl, and then she says shes mad at me and walks off with her friends and her friends give me nasty looks all day. This happened just two days after my girlfriend told me she kissed another guy and how sorry she is.

Tonight she calls me, tells me she hates me and wants to break up then calls back 5 minutes later and says she was joking. She did the same 3 weeks ago but it was a text message. I haven't even done anything to her for all this.

Do girls always act like that? Are women just the same? Because I am not looking forward to dating when I'm older if that's true.

She's very shy. It's hard to have a conversation with her a lot, and she rarely laughs. I'm pretty funny too.

What could I do to win her over? I've tried being funny and being her friend, it's not really working to get her. Could a special Valentine show her i want to go out with her?

This is for anybody whom has been divorced and is back on the dating scene....I am recently divorced (for about 7 months now).from a 2 year relationship with my wife.. however there is a very nice girl that i go to church with. She is single as well and we've been doing simple things like going to the coffee shops or going out to grab lunch together frequently. at least three to four times a week..
I know that she has strong feelings for me even though she has not expressed them, and i think i like her too.
My question to all the recently divorced out there is how long do you all think one should remain on one's own before starting back up in the dating scene?

My husband and I have been married for 18 years and have 3 teenagers. He is a neat freak. Always has been. But now that the kids are older it seems worse. He expexts me to clean 3-4 hours a day. I work 40 hours a week. Did I mention I have 3 teenagers who are very busy them selves. My house is dusted, swept and straightend every day if not everyother day. On Saturday mornings we deep clean. Scrub toilets, tubs floors etc... My husband thinks this should be done daily. He works 26 hours at a time and then is home for 12- 18 hours and then gone again. He dosen't do anything. He also expect us to walk our 2 dogs for an hour or two each day. They get walked about 15- 30 minutes a day. If I try to talk to him about it he just tells me I am making excuses because I don't want to do anything. Also we are not allowed to leave anything sit outside eg..bikes, wet boots, a basket for the clothes on the line etc... He says by doing this we look like we are a bunch of hillbillys.

okay, so he told me that he wanted to come over to watch a movie and all... i told him i'd have to call him when my mom got home. sooo, i'm calling and calling, and finally i got ahold of him... and he was at a party... he told me that he would come right over as soon as my mom got home, but it turns out he's at a party... sooo, should i be getting some type of message about this or what? it really seems like he's extremely into me too. all the time he's all over me... but idk, it seems like something always comes up, besides that one date last saturday, and he told my friends that he's gonna ask me out this weekend, but so far he's just at a party. what do i do?
