I need help with a situation that I am in at the moment. I have this guy I really like and he is 44 and I am only 21. I have slept with him a cuple of times. But he tells me he needs space. I have had a problem in the past that has led to him changing his number. He changed his number and another friend gave me this, but I am not sure how to deal with the problem.

My question is, how do I give him space? I have had problems with giving him space in the past which led to arguments. Dont say just do it. I need other alternatives to how I can get him out of my mind and move on. How do I get him out of my mind? How???

I used to be in this situation when I was 21 and the guy was 48 and he lived with another woman. I never asked questions about where he lived or what his number was or what he was doing. He liked that. What older man don't want a younger woman? When he comes over ask him are you hungery? Don't make him feel obligated to you he will always come back because you are the other woman, when the other woman mistreats him , he will come to you. Don't ask his friends about him never!
You will adventurally find someone that you find more becoming and he will slowly dissapear from your life. Go out with someone around your age, let him find out and he will be back asking you questions but never answer them, tell him I'm giving you your space.

Leave him alone. get on with your life, if he comes back and seems to be friendly, then tell him where to go. ALL men are like this. they don't mind using you, but if you want a relationship with them forget it! They have no emotions or feelings. My ex husband told me many times he needed space, so I divorced him, and now he has a lot of empty space. Go to college, get a degree, meet a guy there your own age. FORGET him, kick him to the curb. Don't sleep with another guy till that ring is on your finger!

he is too old for you i bet he has shriveling old balls...find someone your own age you'd be much happier..that or get a dog...a dog would be a much greater companion..or you can find another man someone that will care for you...or if you really love this old coot then find another dude just to make this old one jealous..that way he'll be like..**** what am i missing (you know) he'll feel bad and might take you back and be like screw space get back with me..that way he won't be the one who's wearing the pants..if you keep chasing him then it'll make him look good and his ego will go over his aging head..but if you act like you don't care about him..don't call don't anything..he might start thinking "hmmm i wonder why she hasn't called me anymore"? then he'll call you and be like "hey what's up"? Have Him Chase You!! Not You Chase Him!
but if all else fails..... Go to a movie, you never know who you could meet there!! movies will take your mind off of everything
go see a comedy because it will make you laugh..don't see a romantic movie..don't see a horror movie..and don't see any chick flicks because all those relate to relationship things

EXAMPLE: DO NOT SEE A
Romantic Movie because this will remind you him because they will show people kissing hugging and having sex with excruciating visuals and sound details

DO NOT SEE A:
Horror film because these movies usually involve scared girlfriends holding onto their boyfriends..and sometimes it requires the boyfriend to comfort his girlfriend.

DO NOT SEE A:
Chick Flick because those movies are usually all about dudes
and couples and relationships and sappy whiny things which might make you sad.

SO GO SEE A COMEDY MOVIE!!!
BECAUSE THEY ARE FUNNY AND USUALLY AREN'T ABOUT SAPPY LOVE RELATIONSHIPS WHERE PATHETIC COUPLES CHASE AFTER EACH OTHER FOR THE ENDING OF THE MOVIE JUST TO TURN OUT THAT ONE OF THEM DIES! OR WHERE THEY GET BACK TOGETHER WHICH MADE THEIR WHOLE FIGHT/SEPARATION A WASTE OF TIME AND POINTLESS!
SO GO SEE A COMEDY GET YOUR MIND OFF OF THAT OLD DOG!!!

BECAUSE OTHERWISE YOU ARE A STALKER!! I MEAN IF HE CHANGED HIS NUMBER AND YOUR STILL TRYING TO CONTACT HIM THEN HE MIGHT PUT A RESTRAINING ORDER ON YOU AND YOU WOULDN'T WANT THAT SO COMEDY MOVIE COMEDY MOVIE COMEDY MOVIE!!!!! GO GO GO!!!

Sounds to me like he's already taken care of the problem by changing his number and telling you me needs space. The man is telling you to back off. Theres nothing more for you to do on your end except to respect his wishes.

I think you should go on a dating site with very hot sexy men, trust me, I go on there alot, well, you know, I'm gay. Anyway thats not the point, go to a dating site with very cute men and see if anyone of those men have you interest, my best suggustions is to start a profile with you picture on it. If you want a "just want to talk" relationship, put serious pictures of you on you profile, if you want "very active, sexual" relationship, put pictures of you in sexual positions. Be careful, before you but any picture of yourself, check the profiles and see if he is what he really says he is.
