I have to reply to a TXT message that my best friend's girlfriend sent me...b/c she has been helping me out with some relatioship stuff for a while...how do I say that what she did means a lot to me, and not sound like I "like" her or somthing like that...idk exactly how to say what i acctually mean and have it sound like I "like" her. weird

So for about the past 3.5 yrs I've been friends with this guy and for like the past 1.5 yr we've grown really close. We're best friends. The only thing is I want to be more and I'm confused as if he does. Well, for starters I'm a freshmen in college and he's a sophmore in high school. There's a 2 hr 5 mon. age diff (I'm 18...19 next month...and he's 16) and a 3 yr grade diff (4 if I end up graduating college early). But even though I've been away at college (which is only like 2hrs away) we're still closer friends than ever. We hang out all the time and like 12 hrs a day when I'm home on the weekends. Sometimes he even makes up an excuse to his girlfriend so he can hang out w/ me. When we're together we have the best time just laughing, talking, and havin fun. I can tell he cares a lot about me. He's gotten me to "come out of my shell" as he says it. I'm pretty sure he knows I still like him. This past summer another friend went behind my back and told him at church camp how I felt...

Okay so this guy has been "hating" me since the beginning of the year and I don't know why. We were really close friends but then I guess one morning he woke up and "decided" to "hate" me. From Septemeber - November he always said he hated me whenever somebody mentioned me, yet now whenever I see him he stares at me non-stop for at least 5 minutes then walks/turns away and continues doing whatever he was before he saw me. Sometimes, if it's just me and him in a certain area, he looks at me, realizes it's me, then turns away without saying a word. My friends all say that he might just be scared to show his true feelings to me, but even if that's true I don't see how he could hurt me so much knowingly and still walk away from me. After everything that's happened, I still love him, but I don't know why. I'm just so confused about why he's acting like this and why he won't talk to me. If anybody has any ideas on what's going on or what I can do to find out, PLEASE tell!

I'm an international student and have been here for about a year and still don't have friends. I'd like to get to know a girl and be in a relashionship but I don't know how. I don't mingle that much with people on campus because everybody is busy like crazy during the day !!! I like this girl at work and the other day my boss Tom says "Trish was talking about you" and Trish covered her face and seemed very embarrassed. I've been told I'm good looking by my buds (not conceded) and this girl is very cute.

When I asked my boss later, he said "oh I was just trying to embarrass Trish". I'm not sure if she likes me or if they were playing a joke on me. What do you think? She seemed very embarrassed, but I'm always skeptical by nature I guess. Shes pretty outgoing normally. Thanks.

what would have been or still is your criteria for success and do u think u are successful in life?
thing is see,...i saw a news report the other day on tv, and it was a story about how a guy set up a fancy dating service, where he hooks up guys and girls. the thing is, the guys had to be millionaires, the women had to be hot. that was it, then you're in.
but the news reporter reported it as 'women had to be hot, and the men....successful'.
they interviewed 2 people for the piece. a 24 year old woman, and a 25 year old guy.
so,...im 28, and im no millionaire. not by a long shot.
does that mean i've failed in life. im not successful?

and how about you? how do u feel about all this?

ok, so there's this guy who goes to my church and my school and i like him, and he told me a while ago he liked me and im pretty sure he still does. idk how to tell him that i like him to, like to get a further relationship going. i've tried dropping some hints, but i think he's a little naive. he's so special to me though, he's more than just some guy, he's like my best friend... and if we went out, how do i answer those "omg you and so and so are going out?" or those "aww... how cute" sarcastics remarks?

Do you believe kids at 12 should like "go out?" I went out with my friends one night and I've seen tons of kids our age going out on dates. I get asked out many times and sometimes I feel bad that I say no but really the reason for dating is to find "the one" you want to spend the rest of your life with. At 12 do you guys really think that a 12 year olds mind can process everything in a relationship? I'm not going to date just because I'll look good on a boys shoulder. I really think 12 year old dating is completly unnecessary. Starting this early can result in pregnancy you think? Starting at 12, and then BOOM 16 comes by and your not just going to want to date. You're going to want to expierament new things like sex. Who else agrees with me? Am I doing the right thing by waiting?

We have been married a little over a year we argue frenquently and it gets intense. My wife is bi polar an refuses to work and has filed for disability.every weekend i get my 6year old daughter for my visitation from my previous marriage we get into a volitile argument she threatens too throw me out and has thrown me and my daughter out and locked the door!We have a 6 month old daughter as well. i pay all the bills and work 2 jobs to keep them payed.she acuses me of cheating if i am 5 minutes late from either job says she does not wont to have sex with me because i have gain weight i work 14 hrs a day most days is there any reason to continue this relation ship or is it hopeless? i love both my kids but i am not sure i am in love with her

We've never met, but exchanged pictures and alot of emails. It seems like a perfect match, but as of now he lives far away, but I will be relocating to the same area he is at soon. Is it worth pursuing? Or does it seem perfect because we have such a limited knowledge of each other? It seems so comfortable talking to him, plus the fact that the usual getting to know someone akwardness (like uncomfortable silences and worrying so much about how you look, etc.) is not there. It almost seems too perfect. I'd like to know if anyone has any experiences or advice to share. I know he's not married, and he says he's very eager to meet me and continue the relationship. I'm trying not to get too excited, but every time I talk to him I feel stronger and stronger. Serious answers only please.

A week before Valentine's (because of a stupid fight) my boyfriend decides to leave with his family to another country for a wedding. He did have an option of staying but b-cuz he got mad at me, he decided to go. He's going to be gone for a month and 2 weeks and we had plans for valentine's and everything..and he didn't care and got up and left. Now he's not just a boyfriend to me but my complete BEST FRIEND! So lately (before he left) he just completely stopped caring for himself, no shaving, ugly clothes, etc etc...and his family has a photo album online. So I go there and check it and he's lookign damn good and I'm like wow my bf really looks like that?? How come he doesn't fix himself up for me?? By the way...i got really mad at him for leaving and i told him i don't trust him anymore becuase of what he did..he did apologize but somehow saying "sorry" does not mend a broken heart.
