Please tell me if you really had one and do not tell me that you do not like to have a nanny and you after your baby yourself. I need to listen to the advice of those ones who really had one.

Look for a nanny with years of experience. Often there are young girls who do nannying and personally I think they just don't have the experience I would trust to leave my baby alone with.
There are very good agencies that can help you find the best match. Interviewing is important. I didn't do that. I had someone that was assigned to me and after 2 days I just found she was useless. The experience so bothered me that I never had her replaced and I just got on with it myself.
I realise these days people need childcare. Families are not always close by to help out and having a good caregiver is so important.
So interview your nannies, and check references, and look for experience, someone with a personality that you like and will fit into your family, who has the kind of caregiving skills you want for your child. Don't settle for anything less that being completely assured you've chose the right person. Your baby deserves no less.

We had a nanny for about 4 years, She was wonderful and I highly recommended her to the next family she went to.

You need to find a trusting Nanny because it is not easy to trust anybody these days, Do you have any body in your family that u can trust instead of a stranger.?

You should choose someone from a agency or someone referred to you by a person you trust.
