My husband has a hunting bow that he doesn't use. A teenage neighbor said that he wanted to buy it, and my husband went ahead and let him get it before he even paid for it. I kept telling him that he should give the bow to the teen until it was paid for, because I didn't think the kid would pay for it. Well I was right, she kid finally came up like a month later and said he couldn't afford it, so my husband got it back, luckely in the same condition. Well, he has just done it again with a co-worker. He isn't friends with this guy, it's just someone he works with. The guy did give him $50 towards the asking price of $350, and my husband let him go ahead and take the bow. I told him again that he made a big mistake giving the bow to the guy before he paid for it, cause he could quit his job, break it, or who knows what, and my husband wouldn't get the rest of the money. He just says "Naw, cause I know where he works." That wouldn't hold up in small claims court! Did he make a bad choice?
