what are the 5 main reasons you love your spouse?

It is wedding etiquette that the groom's parents pay for our honeymoon. Now I know those days are long gone but my parents are following their part of the etiquette deal. My groom is constantly trying to protect his parents from spending money and it is really starting to make me mad. Now I want to book this honeymoon but how should I handle the financials? I don't want to get in a fight with my fiance over it but I just don't think it is right that his parents are spending $500 and mine are spending thousands. He wants us to pay for it and put it on my credit card to book it. I don't want to...what should I do?

How? There are guys I like but I am too shy to make a move. And while some guys really express how much they like me, I don't like them. Why is it that whoever I like doesn't like me, and whoever seems to like me, I am not ready for? And that if I like someone and he likes me, we are both too insecure to admit it?

Nice boyfriend means sweet, caring person who I strike a chord with naturally, not a fake and contrived creation for the purpose of physical satisfaction. Preferably a sweet, innocent boy with whom I can share beautiful moments. I know such people too, and they seem to like me, but I don't know what to do as I was rejected by two others... and am still bruising. I hate even to see those people. And yet I am positively sure I am an attractive and strong-willed young lady (18 year old to be precise...) The problem with me is that I am too romantic, complicated and emotional...till date I have been single. I am proud of my ethics, but within limits I want a guy now.

My parents have just learned that they are grandparents. They are pushing me to be with Chantelle. Me and Chantelle are unable to get along. I don't want my daughter raised in a home with adults fighting all the time.
How do I get my parents to see that Chantelle and I aren't compatible. We did not know this until just a few months ago.
HELP. They are pushing me to marry Chantelle. This would drive me crazy.

I'm confused about what my friend thinks of me. I've known him properly for about three months, and we generally hang around in a group. Sometimes I get the feeling he likes me. He looks at me and smiles at me a lot. He often sits next to me. If I'm talking to other people he often seems to be listening to what I'm saying, and sometimes joins in with the conversation, commenting on what I've said. He'll remember things I've said to him, or things I've said when he's around from weeks before. He'll always comes over and talk to me when he gets the chance, and sometimes when I'm talking to other people he'll hang around me, as if he wants to talk to me but doesn't have the chance to. He's generally quite shy, and doesn't give much away, so it's hard to tell what he's thinking. What signs should I be looking for? How can I tell whether it's just friendship he wants, or more?

After confronting her, she said she dosen't know why she has been doing this, the attention she guesses. She stated that she loves me and wants to stay with me, but cannot help but want to keep this emotional relationship going. To her credit she has told him several times to stop all personal contact with her. The problem is that they work together. She knows I'm upset and hurt, but if I demand that she stops all communication, I'm afraid that will push her away. I love her and want to work things out, but at the same time I don't want to just sit around waiting for her to choose. Oh, and this guy is married too. What are your suggestions.

My Fiance & I have been engaged for nearly two years now and have just recently decided to get married ASAP and we don't want to spend a fortune.
We won't be inviting many people. We have a daughter who's nearly 5 and we'd really like it if it was just the 3 of us, is that possible? We thought we could just have a small do afterwards(15people or so).
I'm really not a weddingy person and haven't got a clue what I need to do or where to start, so all tips appreciated.

He broke up with me, because he didn't want to be in a relationship anymore and under the same breath he says he wants us to better for each other and have more when he wants to settle down. He has been seeing lots of other women, partying like crazy, and drinking until he makes himself sick. I told him well i want to a relationship and you don't so we are at a lost.I told him i have been seeing someone else and he gets mad at me and trys to make me feel bad about it. I know he loves me but I don't know to what extent anymore.I think he is acting out because of jealousy.Part of me wanted to see what the outcome will be from all of this, then another part is telling me to move on and whatever happens, happens. One thing I know I have to do is cut him off completely because he will never see or realize what he has unless he loses it. I can't seem to not talk to him when he calls PLEASE help me out with this.

Here it goes, i have been going out with my boyfriend for 6 month now and he has never once invited me out with him and his friends. Now i know people like to spend time alone doing there own thing but what really gets me is when he does go out with his friends there girlfriends are with them all in groups. In the 6 months i have been with him never once seen anyone or been invited out. Also i have been to my boyfriends house a few times when i 1st met him but for the past 5 month he also never invites me over to his house, his always wanting to come over where i live and do things round my area, i have talked about this to him and told him he needs to start and invite me and make me apart of things, but nothing changes. I also feel as if im doing all the work in this relationship too ie, i ask to see him, i sugest places to go, im the one that does all the phone calls, i have had this out with him many times but he just says i have got a problem!

I was just wondering how many people on here have grown up with their spouses. I mean as from children to adulthood and fell in love. I wasn't fourtane to grow up with my husband but I wish I did. If you did then did you ever think that you'd wind up married or dating? If you didn't do you wish you had? It would be nice to have grown up with my hubby.
