I am getting married in 12 days! Me and my fiance met in sunday school when we were about 11 and we became really good friends and we talked on the phone all the time. When we were almost 16 he told me his feelings for me and I was amazed because i had felt the same way for him all this time. We have never dated anyone else besides each other and we are so madly in love. I am 21 now and I cannot wait to marry my best friend for 10 years!!

My husband and I met when I was 11 and he was 14. We dated on and off since. When we was not dating, we still remained close friends. We were always there for each other, and always confided in one another. I knew he would be the guy I would marry. I think it was great that we were so close before we got married. We are now in our 30s and happier than ever. We are eachother's best friend, and there are no secrets between us. We have a very strong marriage and I can't think of anyone else I would want to spend the rest of my life with.

I didn't, but if you want to get a general idea of those around me (numbers) then here goes:
Out of all my friends there are two couples who were childhood friends. That is somewhere around 70 people (give or take)
Out of my coworkers (32 people), there is one couple that were childhood friends.
The rest are like you and I, we met our spouses much later in life.
I really can't say I wish I had known him all my life, because I wonder if the attraction that we have would still be there, who knows? I am also sure I would have been in some fights because of some of the idiots he has dated, - and I'm non-confrontational, lol!
On the other hand, it would have been great, because he is one of the coolest people I have ever met and can't imagine life without him. It would have been fun, I'm sure.

I was fortunate enough to meet my husband when we were in about 4Th or 5Th grade, I can't remember exactly because it was over the summer break. My husband was a friend of my best friends brother, Anyways I know things about him that could be better left unknown and unsaid. I don't ever regret meeting him while I was young but I never thought about the 2 of us getting married or even dating, I wouldn't triad it for anything in the world though I love my husband more then I think he will ever know. I think if we could go back in time we would still do the same things that led us to getting married, at least I know I would.

Sorry, because this probably won´t help. But I met my wife when I was 25 but now am almost 28. But, she made clear that if I don´t grow up she would leave me. Since then, I have tried to be more mature. So yes, I grew up with my spouse, but not in the way that you mean.

as kids, my fiance and i knew each other from going to the same school, but we didn't actually start hanging out together until we were 13 in junior high. he and i were best friends, and he dated just about all of my girlfriends. our freshman year of high school we casually dated a little bit, nothing serious, but then we decided to just be friends again. at the end of that year, his parents made him transfer schools, and we lost touch until our first semester of college, when we just so happened to have the same major. we became really good friends again, even though we both had huge crushes on each other. but then we both got involved in other relationships, and eventually lost touch again. then 3 years later, we run into each other again at a mutual friend's baby shower, when we both had just gone through bad separations with our exes, and we were both single parents. needless to say, we've been inseperable ever since. but if you had told me 10 years ago that i would be marrying my best friend, i would have laughed at you.
