Something everyone needs to do. Forgiving is very important to me. I always forgive someone when they hurt me because I'm that kind of person and it doesn't leave a burging on my heart like it did when I was younger. It's something everyone needs to do.

Forgiveness is a choice. It is very healing to me to forgive others. The Bible commands us to do so as well... It says that if we do not forgive others our God in heaven will not forgive us and even hear our prayers. If we do not want our prayers hindered we better forgive.

that we are all flawed and if we fail to forgive someone we actually stay in the bitterness, we can't enjoy anything, or appreciate things if we haven't forgiven someone, but we forgive for our self, not for the other person. we really never have to let them off the hook when we have been hurt, but i think the one we end up forgiving is our own self. what comes to my mind is we have to forgive if we want the lord to forgive us, and when we forgive not forget it we actually are helping ourselves to feel forgiven.

I don't have a maid to consult but I forgive people not to release them of any wrongdoing but it releases me of the pain/hurt that they caused and helps me to move on.
