ok- I'm 25 and all my life people told me "Oh- honey- don't waste your life by getting married/having kids young. Wait until you're ready- do all the things you wanna do- get your education.....etc." So I get my education- I'm intelligent and independant and happily single. Well now- the same people who told me to take my time and get my education are now on me like "Whats wrong with you? When are you getting married? You won't be young forever!!! You're 25 - you should be married by now!" Ok- so why the hell did I need to get my education when they didn't even want me to use it in the first place!? It's like "Ok honey- your 25- put down those damn books and focus on finging you a man and having kids!!" Whats the deal? You can only be accpeted as a single independent educated woman up until the age of 25 and after that you are just a spinster?

Ok well dont listen to them they are wrong and on all bases so is society just because you are not married by twenty-five doesn't mean that you aren't accepted, everyone moves at there own pace and some move lower than others i reccomend putting your earned education to use find a well paying job buy a house and then find a guy when you're ready. dont let people tell you that you're not acceptable for not being married. Dont let them live your life for you, decide what you want, when you want.

No thats not true. I was engaged for 6 years and heard "when are you getting married" 10 times a day. My ex would even say people think you don't want to marry me. I didn't give a f*ck then and I don't now. I am 27 and in no rush what so ever to get married no matter who thinks it's wrong.

you have a good foundation for a great life now... so keep doing YOUR OWN thing and dont let someone tell you whats good for you till you know!!!
You sound unsure about your life. Do the things you want to do not what people are telling you to do.

tha's just how people are. when they get older, they try to give 'advice' to the younger generation. The truth is that no matter what decisions you make in life, they are bad decisions to someone else. So don't let other people tell you how to live your life. They don't even know how to live theirs.
