We've have been together for about five months. We would have sex semi-regularly in the first couple months, but after that we stopped because he said he didn't like how condoms felt. I got on birth control a few weeks ago and he's still afraid I might get pregnant. I brought this up before and asked why he doesn't want to have sex and questioned if he was still attracted to me and he got very upset. He told me he's just trying to look out for the both of us and not get me pregnant, and if he wasn't attracted to me he wouldn't even be with me. He's always home with me every night, so I highly doubt it's cheating. I would know if something like that was going on.

It sounds to me that he actually has your best interest at heart! It may be hard for you to understand, but fromt he outside looking in, as I am, it does sound like he really loves you and values your relationship and doesn't want to get you in trouble! Value him for that! There are so many guys that wouldn't take the initiative to be responsible for this situation! He is being a grown up about it! Also, take into consideration anything that my be overly stressing him right now! Stress is a major factor in a loss of libido! Good luck! But remember, he seems to love you enough to want the best for you, no matter what! Cherish that!

I'm not bieng mean but I'm attatching an "IF" to that because I wanted your attention. IF you didn't both get tested for stds before you stopped using a condom, you are an idiot.
2- he is gay.
3- there is a small chance it is something else like erectile dysfunction or something, that could also explain the excuse of why he doesn't like condoms and maybe had a sexual experience with you where he couldn't get off and blamed it on the condoms.

I think he might be gay. Most guys....no all guys i know would have sex w. a condom if thats what it takes.
I see only 3 reasons to turn a woman down.

Sounds to me like he's just not ready to become a father. He has a right to be afraid of getting you pregnant. Even with birth control and/or condoms, there is still a chance you can get pregnant. I don't think it has anything to do with him not liking you...in fact, I think it has everything to do with the fact that he really likes you....He's concerned about YOU and HIM...he's protecting you both from something you're not ready for, a baby. (I don't know if you're ready or not, but obviously he's not).

He just seems terrified to be a dad. He probably does want to have sex with you, but the fear of getting u pregnant is bigger. Tell him that birth control pills are really reliable and that there really is no need for him to worry. Good luck

The problem lies with your own insecurity. He is being respectful and honest with you. He charishes you. A man like that does not come around very often. Perhaps talk about being intimate with him without having sex. Maybe he's wanting to wait until you two are married? Sounds like he really is just honestly sacred to have kids before marriage. Sounds like a really great guy.

you answered your own question:he doesn't want to be a father and mess up your life by having a baby earlier than wanted. just a relationship for now.who knows? you'll get married within five years and then have a little baby. expain to him how birth control works so he doesn't think it's like a condom OUTSIDE your body.

Maybe his sex drive is very low and doesn't want to admit to it. If he continues like this after you have been on the pill for a couple months, I would pressure him for another reason why he is not into sex.

Did you check him out for STDs? Maybe he's having an outbreak and he doesn't want to get you infected and he's using the getting-you-pregnant excuse.
