We would not be talking about the stress in his life, the strain of being a working father, the pressure of a demanding career, psychological evaluations, and basically making excuses for his behavior?
Wouldn't we would be calling him a stalking, obsessed, dangerous control freak who was prepared to abandon his family for another woman and do who-knows-what to the competition?
We'd probably be locking him up for good, not saying things like "oh you've never walked in her shoes", or "driven in her diaper", I suppose....
