I do not care if poeple say that I am trying to bash. or GENERALIZED. If you ladies are tired of them, just try something different. I just hate the way black women are being treated. Black women are not appreciated. Even if there are a good, classy black women, she is still overlooked or there has to be something wrong. I know everyone does, but I believe black women deserve more respect. However if you are dating outside your race do not act like other people start bashing the black men. I hate this because when people are dating outside their race they think they can disrespect or bash those in their race. Let be mature.

I'm gonna ask my crush out on a date but I'm not exactly sure how i wanna go about it. I know i have to catch her alone, that shouldn't be to hard but I'm unsure about what we should on the date. If she says yes then I'm probably gonna go for a dinner and a movie.I really like this girl and i don't wanna screw this up so i need some suggestions.

i just found my 2 step sisters and 1 step brother i like them but i dont know how to act w/ them they dont know our dad the way i do and when i hear them talk about the lies he has told them i always wonder if i should tell them the truth they are a lot older then me but our dad took off on them to be with me and my mom when 2 of them were teenagers and 1 was a baby like me now that i have found them should i tell them what a ***hole our dad really is or let them find out for themselves?

OK i met this guy in college.I'm sorta starting to get into him.He's very much into me.This I know b/c of what he tells people about me.The only thing is, I don't know whether to pursue a serious relationship.In my heart, I want to, but I know my family will disapprove of his appearance,his personality, or his habits. Anything about him really.He's about 5'5 and weighs about 125. He's very pale and always wears really big, baggy sweatshirts, and pants.He has long stringy black hair, tattoos, and a tounge ring.He's from Chicago, both parents are lawers, and he really flaunts his parents' money and the things (expensive clothes, flashy cars,etc.) that he buys with it.He also smokes and drinks extensively. Ladies, what would you say to your friend if she was dating someone like this, and moms, what would u think if your daughters came home with him on their arms?I appreciate any comments/advice.I want advice from either angle, as a parent or a peer, even if it is negative advice.Thanks

I know you've heard this question before, but I ask because my bf's different. there's alot of things he doesn't like or already have. He's a creative sort that always gets/makes awsome presents. No cologne, sex won't be optional, cds won't do, gift certificates are not creative enough for him. He needs something creative and unique, useful if possible.
Tell you how he is. He's a geek, and he loves going on adventures. He is quite a handy man around the house. (Don't ask about tools, already bought him a 92 peice ratchet set for christmas for him. He says he's good for the next 10 years on that) Like I said before, he's quite creative and always comes up with awsome presents. Please let me know what you think. (He's already started on mine, which, interestingly enough, involves microwaving something) lol

sorry for the long descripiton.... i was w/ my bf for 2 yrs...my bf and i broke up about 2 months ago and we both want to get back together...my parents are really holding me back though...they explained to me why and i understand and respect what they say but i have been soooo unhappy without him and its not b/c im lonely or single...its b/c i miss my ex...when i go out, i wish he was with me to experience it, i miss talking to him, being w/ him, and i respect how hard he works...i could go on forever... i still love him and i realize that if i go back theres always a chance that what made us break up could come back to haunt us but i want to take the chance...i just wish my parents could see that he makes me happy and support my decision...i no they will be angry with me...do u think they will ever come around?

I booked a ticket to go and stay with my 14 year old daughter. She lives with her Dad in another state. Her Dad has moved and left her with his mother.

She wants me to come and stay with her until the school year is over and then go from there. I have decided to listen to her.

I am still scared of going to the other state because my ex-husband will put demands on me and ask me to do certain things that I don't feel comfortable doing. I will also have to look for a new job, etc.

Why is it so hard to make this decision? I want to step up and take care of my child, but don't want to be taken advantage of by my ex-husband or be hurt emotionally.

it is like they don't know how to tell you that they secretly don't want to be with you so they do passive agressive things to tick you off so they won't have to feel guilty. They make you angry so they can get you to be the one to break up.They are very covert because when ever they want something they manipulate to get it. Anyone experienced this?

I just had a thought that maybe if I miss someone who said she doesn't want to talk to me anymore, that even though I would love her back in my life that it could be best for me at least for awhile for her to be gone. Maybe until I get certain other things taken care of first, and then start talking to her again. It's such a crazy idea I don't even know if I'm explaining it right.

My friend has the hugest crush on this guy. She's really innexperienced and immature about guys and who she likes.

she wanted him to call her, and acted immature and overwhelming.

he ACTUALLY called her, to apologize for not wanting to go to the turnabout dance she asked him to. now she is COMPLETELY oblivious, and thinks that now her and him are like meant to be. how can i tell her that she has NO CHANCE with him, and that just because he called her doesn't mean he's head over heals in love with her? should i tell her at all? she needs to know before she is COMPLETELY crushed. again. how do i do it and not hurt her?

I met this guy in college.He's from Chicago & both parents are lawyers. He's about 5'5 and 125#.He has long thin black hair, tattoos, and a tounge ring. When we do, he expresses how into me he is and how he will do anything for me, he loves me unconditionally, etc.He knows I feel the same way.We don't see each other much in person b/c of both of our overloaded schedules, but when we do, he gets extremely nervous. I mean, to the point of physically shaking.This can even be when I'm doing nothing more than sitting next to him, just talking. He also doesn't say much in person, I'm usually the one that does all the talking.One day, shortly after I met him, after class,he wanted to show me the tattoo on his back.When he took off his shirt, I could see that he was visibly shaking.Why is this?? How can I get him to relax?

I'm a sophomore in highschool, and there's a freshman girl I saw who I want to get to know. I haven't really talked but sometimes make eye contact in the hallways. How should I approach her for the first time?

I have NO classes with her, and i only see her in between some classes.

Sicne it's just between a few classes, I can't really go up to her because she's with all her friends and we don't get much time to switch classes.

I wanna go up to her, but I can almost never find her during any of the breaks or in the morning or after school.

If I did find her in the morning or after school, would going up to her for the first time in fornt of her friends be better or worse?

or what if I went up to her in front of her friends then asked to talk to her privatley or something?

i have had a really rough past. and i also have a hard life at home. but when i go to school, i act like im totally normal and im ok. but i sometimes think of stuff while im with my friends and it will make me sad. and they will ask me if im ok. and ill either say "yes" or "no". and if i say no, they say, "do you want to talk about anything" and i will say no. i dont thnk they will understand where im coming from and they will think im lying or something like that. and since they dont know how it feels, they will just blow it off. but i keep everything bottled up all the time and it hurts. i write about stuff in songs and journals. but its starting to get worse. i have harmed myself by cutting and suicide thoughts sometimes. and i dont trust psycologist becuase i talked to one and all they did was told my mom everything. and my mother and i are not close. nor do i wish to be. so even though my friends wont understand me, should i still talk to them about stuff?

my wife has a friend/co-worker whom she gets up an hour early every day to work out with, works 9 hours with, then comes home(she really wants to go out dancing and have drinks with her, shes just now trying to break the habit), and we get a couple hours before bed...so on so forth...we get one day off to do stuff every week. but she HAS to have at LEAST one day a week (which i think is too often to have girls night out) to hang with her friend...she tells me "see ya later" on a sunday night, and completely disappears until 4:30am, i get upset, no yelling, never violent, but i just dont feel like i am getting top priority here, this kind of stuff happens often, even on days we happen to get off together she will totally ditch me and go hang out with her buddies.
this stuff gets me upset, so she calls me controlling and has recently requested separation...we havent spoken in a week.
does she have a problem, or am i just a jerk for wanting to do things with my wife?

please help...

Alright me and my husband moved in together after he came back from his training, we just found out hes getting deployed thing is me and his family had a HUGE fallout, they came to our apt telling him to leave me... reason being because he didnt spend the ENTIRE thanksgiving day with them, we split it in half they broke doors, his mother was saying that he didnt love me, in the end cops came, told them to leave, asked him what he was going to do, and he chose to stay, he still visits them, I dont like it but what can I do honestly? anyways the day of his deployment I know they are going to want to be the ones to see him off, I feel like telling him absolutely not, because I will not be able to say goodbye without probaby getting beat up or something, or one of them, either way I am not liking this idea, what is the best way to organize this?? I hate it how just because they are his parents that they pretty much have "dibbs" on doing this. What should I do?

I never intended to stray and I won't. I just worry she's sending a former "friend" to my office and was telling me how good looking she was and I'd like her. She's done this to me before. We are fairly open when we are together but never seperate. I wish she'd stop bringing it up is all. Thank you all for your input.
