Do just that, honey. Write to him, and let him know how you feel. Keep in touch with him as much as possible so he will not have those concerns. Sorry you are going through this.

Well, all seriousness aside, he will have a lot of company in there. Most people that are incarcerated claim innocence or some kind of mitigating reason for why they did what they did. Often thy say they did it for some noble cause. Or they were framed. Good luck. It is difficult to maintain a long-distance relationship, let alone a prison and world one.

Just keep reassuring him everything will be ok. No matter how many times he asks. U have to keep him in the right mind frame. 7 yrs thats a long time, if he is innocent he should try to appeal.

Wait for a letter from him and then tell him but 7 yrs is a long time for something he did not do. Did he take a plea?

Contact the jail to get mailing information. Then do some major research to help him with proving his innocence.

just tell him that. but you are probably going to have to remind him of that several times. at least. and if he really didn't do it, he may get out sooner. the american justic system (excluding the death penalty) is one of the best in the world, and if he didn't do it it will be proven somehow. support him through this, he needs all the love he can get right now.

are you positive he didnt do it??
if you are, then just write what you feel, that you trust and love him and that you will wait for him as long as it takes. if he really didnt do it find a way to prove it.
