I have a friend and she has been cutting herself for a while. She acts like it's no big deal because she does it on her sholders, not her wrists, so she thinks that no one should worry. But still, she does it deep and after she cuts it bleeds for a long time and she can feel it burning for about 5 hours after each cut. She has had numerous friends try to help her but they all just end up getting mad and giving up because they think she's hopeless. I, on the other hand, know her better, and I know that if someone just knew how to help her deal with things and gave her enough time to try and stop, that she could get through it. But the problem is, how do I help her? I won't give up but I really have no idea what I could say to her.

I had orientation for a job today and afterwards this guy said we should hang out sometime. Then he let me use his phone to call for a ride. I gave him my number and E-mail address. He wrote me twice on the E-mail and added as his friend on myspace telling me to call him and when which numbers to call him on. Is he interested in me? He works the same shift as me at work and said if he doesn't talk to me before we start working he'll talk to me at work.

my gf & i are engaged and a couple days ago i left my house. and now shes all mad at me i had no idea i had to inform people when im walking in or out of my own house. i just felt like getting up and going to visit my friend i had know idea that i would have to tell her where im going.
i dont see what the hell i did wrong i was just gone for a couple days.(6)


im not used to people asking me things and im not used to people caring where the hell i go.
everyone i know knows that i can take care of myself and my friends know i dissapear alot.

Theres this guy in my class (8th) and last year (7th) he "confessed his Love for me" in front of the WHOLE FRIGGIN CLASS. When he was about to announce my name, I shook my head NO. I've been dating this guy for awhile now. He's crazy about me and very sweet. He's also intelligent, caring, responsible, helpful, generally a good person, has a good career future set out for himself, and lots of other things that I like in guys. The only thing is, he can be pretty boring. He likes to do a lot of things, but when it comes to talking, he's just not very good at it. Don't get my wrong, we can get into conversations about meaningful issues, but other than that... he always responds with a laugh or some other short generic response that doesn't add anything to the conversation. It really gets to me sometimes. Is this worth breaking up with someone for? How big of a deal is this? And do you think eventually he'll pick up some of my habbits and be more interesting and fun? Is there anyway I can hint without hurting his feelings, and is he even capable of changing that? ...

Afte 6yrs 41/2 months in a relationship Usual ups n downs including seeing him in and out of jail a couple of times.My oldest(different father than youngest)seems to be such a bother for the significant other...he decides instead of talking things over and coming to a decision together he's gonna tell me when the oldest can be in the house.This is actually a young man almost 19 and headed into Army after graduation this year.My son is fixin' to step out on his own and as his mom I naturally want to spend as much time as possible.So,why was I put between a rock n a hard place?My Son or the love of my life? She's afraid to go outside because she thinks she's going to get killed. She's afraid that I'm going to get kidnapped/raped so I'm forbidden to go outside. We just moved into the safest apartment that's in a very rich part of town and she still says I'm not allowed to outside. She put a bar in my window and put two bookcases so I can't be kiddnapped. She did the same for her window. She got the loickes changed so the apartment managers can't use there keys to get in, and put two more locks on the door. She home schooled me because the kids in school can be dangourus. I just started PMS and my hormones are explodeing as I watch kids play while I'm looking outside from the kitchen. I can tell she's very depressed, and I am to. I'm screaming from this lonlyness. My dad left us, and family contact is very minimal. I have friends on the computer, but I'd like to ahve real friends.I feel realy bad for her, and how can I make her better? She's 67.

I have been with my boyfriend for about a year. . He moved down here to get away from his past,he used to do cocaine. Unfortunately he slipped up and did it again a couple of times. Now he is in jail because of his addiction. He went to a drug rehab and had to finish his sentence in jail. He gets out very soon and we both want to work things out. It s just that he is so afraid that I am going to cheat on him because the last relationship he had he caught her cheating on him, and they were engaged. I never been arrested but I do know that it is hard to be in there while the person that you love is continuing life without you. He is terrified of losing me but he would call me horrible names and will call right back and try to apologize. when I ask him why he does that he said that's how his mom treated him and he knows no other way.He says he hates being so angry but he has an inner hate for his mom. I know that he would give anything for me though.What do I do?

Last month I told friend of four years I wanted something more. My friends lied to me about a creepy guy they hooked me up with. They kept things from me about him but told him everything they knew about me so he stood out to me like he was perfect for me. Then later they talked badly about me and went around spreading rumours. Only with me, they feel compelled to keep secrets, but they talk about me to others and people know about me through them. My question is, what do you think of this? Are they my friends or not? I need to know what to make of all this. Why do they talk about me like this? Do I need new friends?
