How long do you wait for love?

Last month I told friend of four years I wanted something more. He told he had been wait to hearthatThe frist couple days of me tell him that it was good. then everything start to change I asked him about it, he told me that he wasnt ready for a relationship with me I asked him why he said because he know what I want out of a man and he not there I told him any relationship you have problem that you have to work out and I know his problems but he dont think I can handle them in a relationship but I been deal with them for the last four years. I want to be with him but I dont know how long I should wait and It is get to me now because he still comes around and want to hold me and kiss me we talk on the phone for hours we go out as friends I am torn because I want to do thoes thing with him but as a couple not friends How long should I wait or what should I do? and I tried tell him how I feel he tell me he feel the same way but we are still friends and I know it not nobody else

remember the borderline between "friend" and "boyfriend". just kno that he knos everything about u (especially the things tha u don't want ur bf to kno...), and that whe u have "bf difficulties", u no longer have him to consult with about the trouble (cuz he's actually in the relationship!!!). he's prob decidin (and i suggest u do this too) whether or not he wants to sacrifice an awesome friend for, unfortunately, an unsteady gf (as with everyother relationship). once a bf, never a bff (again).

It's not like a bus that's gonna show up on some kind of schedule, you know? Relationships worry guys because we know that you girls expect us to be "perfect" and we are so not anywhere near that. It's too much like work to do that. So you may be waiting for years.
