You probably should tell him that you had a wonderful time on your date, it was lots of fun but you are really tired and need to get to sleep cause you have things you need to do tomorrow. The first date is too soon, girl!
If you screw on the first date he'll think you are *easy* and he probably won't stay with you very long. Earn the respect you deserve by making him wait at least 10-20 dates!

You say "not yet". This lets him down easy but makes it clear that sex is on the cards at some future time. He doesn't expect you to let him sleep with you on your first date; he is just trying it on, so he will be expecting a rejection. FYI: you NEVER have sex on the first date.

No. If you want a second date, no sex on the first. From the sound of it, you're not ready. Don't do it if you're not ready or you think you'll lose him. If you lose him for that reason, you're better off without him.

It's always a good idea to make him wait as men tend to believe that if you give in too quickly then you do that with everyone. (Ironic really as they give in too but girls get labelled with all the rotten names)
So make him wait - if he turns out to be an idiot you'll be glad you didn't give it up. If he really likes you he will wait - it's a good test.
What do you say to him? "I really like you but I'm not ready yet" - and don't go any where where it will be harder to say no Like for instance his bedroom.
