i usually ask her for coffee or a movie or something light in the email but she doesn't respond. But when I call she picks up to my surprise. We talk about general stuff but I am kind of afraid to ask her about getting toghether when we are talking because I sense she doesn't want me to go there (at least yet). What is going on? If she wants nothing to do with me, why even pick up my calls? I don't hae a restricted number so she knows it is me. Is this just part of the excruciating process us men have to go through to get a great woman back? should I just be patient? I am not doing anything over the top, just trying to keep a line of communication open. I call maybe once a week, usually with something informative so as not to waste her time.

Are they looking for a chance to "do things over", re-live their youth or are they just messed up? I know a number of men who left their wives for younger women - my ex included. They claimed they were not happy. However, they went back to lifestyles that they were tired of prior to getting married. They had reached a point in their lives where they were tired of partying and wanted to settle down and have kids. They did settle down, their kids are almost grown (8 - 10) and they were no longer simply making "ends meet". Now they are living the lifestyle they claimed to be tired of. They are close to 40 years old, barely making ends meet and living with woman who are in their late 20s and who will no doubt want to get married and have kids. My question - why?? I do not understand their reasoning. Is it the chance to do things over, relive their youth or are they simply messed up?

I am doing a naughty and nice theme for their party. It is going to be pretty layed back at their house. So I am trying to think of simple things for decorations. They are having everyone over for hambugers and then going out after. It is just friends at this point, no family. I am wanting to decorate their house and naughty seems to be a little easier to find then nice. But I wanted suggestions on decorations and maybe a naughty and nice drink... anything you can give me will help!

why do we feel guilty after we do things to get to the one we love...I have done too much for him and he does not seem to care.
why do i feel guilty even if I know everything I have done is because I love him?
(Not bad things..just a little stupid like calling him and putting songs that say what I feel for him, sending text messages even when he never answered me, giving him a birthday gift and doing whatever to get the chance to be with him at least for a minute, etc, etc...)

I have been on about 6 or 7 dates with him (we are both in our late 20's) and for the first few dates he paid and I let him. The last 2 times we went out I offered to split the bill with him and he accepted. At first he was hesitant but then he took the money. Now I feel obligated to offer everytime. We went to dinner last night and he took my half of the money with no problem. My friends say its a little rude. I am not traditional and don't really have a problem w/ it but I do wonder if this means something negative. What do you think guys?? (and girls?)

My friends are having a girls night out, and I would love to go out with them and have some fun. The problem is I know my bf will be against it, we agreed in the beginning of our relationship that there is no reason for a girls or boys night out at a club, cuz it just tempst and asks for trouble. Its not that there is no trust, and I would bring him but its a complete girls night and no one else is bringing their bfs. How do I go around asking him? PS I dont lie, so I can't say something that isn't the truth, for example tell him I'm going to stay at my moms for the weekend. CANT DO IT. Any advice?

I dated this woman for a month and a half, we went to church together regularly and she was very nice. we crossed the friend line a long time ago and now she says she doesnt see me as anything more than a friend. She always said she liked me for me and that I was cute but she really wanted to change alot of things about me, my physical appearance, apt, budget, diet and style. So in reality she really didnt like me for me. Am I wrong for not wanting to be friends. She called me one time this week and I didnt answer. The last we spoke was sunday night.

I was with my boyfriend for 5 years we were engaged for a year and due to be married next year ( his idea) He then told me 4 months ago that he didn' t love me any more and left. I feel like my whole world has fallen apart its been 4 months now and its not getting any easier. I've tried going out with friends and getting new hobbies, but i can't stop thinking about him. I don't know how i will cope if i see him with someone new as far as i know he isn't seeing anyone. How long before this will get any easier and is there anyone who can give me some advice on how to get over him. I've tried meeting someone new but i haven't found any one suitable so any other ideas?

Thanks so much to everyone who replied to me. It makes me feel a lot better to know I'm not completely mental. I would like to know if I should just leave this alone and let it go, or try to talk to him for some closure, To the woman who said women just want to feel irreplacable.............I think you hit the nail on the head there. I never thought of it that way, but I guess somewhere deep down I thought he could never replace me. I am almost angry at him for that. I know that I went on with my life, and its only right that he be able to as well.........but geeze it hurts a lot. I just want to get past this!! I am so disappointed in myself! Anyway...........should I try to talk to him, and hope maybe he can help me with some closure? Or just let it go??

Best friends for 12 years now & we had always said we'd be each others maid of honor. After high school we kept in touch but obviously not as much. BUT we still kne what was going on in each others lives from month to month. Then she got engaged & I found out another way instead of from her so I messaged her:Well I guess I have to find out the good news from someone else but thats ok I hope you call with all the juicy details anyway! She later told me she had been ofended by what I sent her & she was actually waiting for me to call her when I was doing the same. About a month later I called wanting to wish her well & she slowly begain to explain her "hurt" feelings to me & told me that after the message I left her she thought I wasnt going to want to be her maid of honor so she asked her sister. BUT she still wants me to stand in it if id like. The thing is Im a chubby girl & i kno it & her sister whos like a model chose a dress for the bridesmaids that will make me look silly&pregnant

Ok my boyfriend is dark skin (Black)...and he wants me to have a kid from him because he think that they will come out cute because I'm very light with honey brown eyes because My mom was mixed with white and black her mom was black but light skin and her dad was white but I'm considered as black because my dad is black and I feel bad because he don't want to have kids with me just because he want to be with me and he wants to start a family with me, I feel that he just want a kid to calm as his so they can say how pretty or handsome the kid looks, shouldn't he just hope for a healthy baby right

I met this girl when i got to college and we just clicked immediatly! We just became the best friends any one would ever wish for! We get along so perfectly and have soo much in common. We even sleep in the same bed! The problem is that, we both have had major relationship problems in the past and both wish we had someone. And what kills me the most is that i hear her talk about all the things she wishes she could find in a man.....and it just seems like she is describing me!! And the same goes for me. It seems that ever since i met her. I cant see myself being with anyone else but her. But i just dont know how she feels..... She tells me that we are just best friends, but there are times when i feel like maybe she feels the same as me. I would give anything just to be with her, because i know that no guy could ever treat her the way that i could. and i know i couldn't be happy with anyone but her. She is the definition of perfect to me and i just dont know what to do!! Please help!
