I met this girl when i got to college and we just clicked immediatly! We just became the best friends any one would ever wish for! We get along so perfectly and have soo much in common. We even sleep in the same bed! The problem is that, we both have had major relationship problems in the past and both wish we had someone. And what kills me the most is that i hear her talk about all the things she wishes she could find in a man.....and it just seems like she is describing me!! And the same goes for me. It seems that ever since i met her. I cant see myself being with anyone else but her. But i just dont know how she feels..... She tells me that we are just best friends, but there are times when i feel like maybe she feels the same as me. I would give anything just to be with her, because i know that no guy could ever treat her the way that i could. and i know i couldn't be happy with anyone but her. She is the definition of perfect to me and i just dont know what to do!! Please help!

you just reminded me of this song called "all or nothing" that's sort of a similar situation. well i think its time to tell her how you feel. i know that if someone that already cared about a lot, tells me to my face the way you have described how you feel in your answer, i would swoon. i mean, wow! i think that you are either in or falling in love with her. so you must tell her. choose the right time. why dont you ask her over to a movie night? and then choose a good moment, and look her deeply in the eyes, smile, and ask, as if you have just realized at that moment how you felt about her, "have you ever thought about us being more than friends?" and then kiss her. its more than likely that she'll accept the kiss. i tell you to do something like this because when i realized that i was in love with my best guy friend i was like you, i didnt know how to tell him and what to do it. and it finally happened one night when we were watching movies at his house. we started fighting over the remote, playfully of course, and suddely he fell on top of me and we just looked at eachother, and then i asked him what i suggested you ask you friend. i said, "have you ever thought about us being more than friends?" and then he kissed me! it was the best. we're still together! :) so create an atmosphere for just the two of you thats something usual and simple. and just choose a moment to tell her. i have a feeling this will have a happy ending. :)

That is so sweet.. you know the best of relationships start of as being friends.. valentine is coming, think of something romantic and tell her how you feel.. if she does not reciprocate your feelings, things will cool off for a while between you two, but it will pick up again.. at least then, you would not be torturing yourself.. i say GO FOR IT

Theres nothing you can do if you don't begin the topic. Just tell her what you feel and if she really rejects you, just treat it as a joke for a better friend relationship. But if you are just afraid to point out the question, just wait till you have the courage to face this.

You should watch the office with her. Point out Jim and Pam's relationship and lightly joke that it's like you two.

Actually... You are sleeping in the same bed? Just grow a pair and make a move kid.

I would just tell her! If you love her as a companion and you want to marry her and spend the rest of your life. If she really loves you back, she will still want to be with you. But if she's not the one--she'll be ruined and she will leave. Come clean, and tell her how you feel!

tell her you love her!!!! if you guys are as perfect as you say then why miss out on having a lover and a friend in one. let her know that you are scared but you just can't hide your feelings anymore. when you tell her make sure that is a special and sweet moment that you and her will cherish forever.

you need to think long and hard about this, because i fail for my best friend too and we ended up breaking up and we hate each other now. It sucks cuz now i don't have him to talk like i did. so if you willing to tell her than go on and do it, but remember good thing do always last forever. i hope nothing but the best for you. You see like you deserve her. Good Luck.

check to see if she is showing intrest in you. " not really asking her."
try seeing if you can locate a special bond in between you and her.
when she is with you how does she act:
is she always smiling and laughing at your jokes.
will she go to the store or the movies "etc." with when she is free to.
does she tell you things like her personal life, family, friends.
if she shows a little bit of interest in you go for it.
if she doesn't try to shun away from you when she around certain people and you two are always hanging out with each other. that dating if you look at it.
ask her before someone else does\
i was in love with my best friend but was afraid to tell her i realized i had to man up and ask her and when i did it turns out she was waiting for me to ask but couldn't ask herself

most successful relationships start out as friends. but you have to ask yourself 'is it worth pursuing a relationship if it compromises the friendship' chances are, even if you both decide to take it a step further, there is little chance of going back to friends if it doesnt work out.

go ahead...be frank and tell her all the feelings that you have.....and even mention that you would never mind and continue to be her best friend if she doesn't accept the relationship.....let her understand that this friendship is equally important to you.....as she is your best friend...she might also explain you what she feels.
