My girlfriend, whom I love very much got accepted into grad school and a job along with the school....but she'll have to move overseas...she's told me she doesn't want to go and that'll she's decline both the job and school...I know this isn't what's best for her.

What's best for her is to leave...but I can't join her, I have grad school and a job here....a long distance relationship...lets face it...won't work...I've tried it, it doesn't work...it'll just drag us along for a bit until one of us realizes it...

I am listening to some sappy love song right now...and I think I have to break up with her....she won't go unless I do....I love her so much....someone tell me this is the right thing to do!!!

okay my husband and i are in counseling. the counselor says we have to continue to make it work, we are working on communication issues, issues on what we want from eachother....HOWEVER, all my friends (even my boss who doesn't even know the details...) say that I'm too nice and i need to throw this guy out of the house and he'll eventually GET it. I need to have "tough love". Who is right??? BTW he's involved in an emotional affair and anytime it comes to him building trust with me, he doesn't follow through...he says "its over between them.." yet he won't prove it.

I love my X g/f so much. We dated for 7 months and we got pregnant in November. She lost the baby due to miscarriage. We had a bad break up because she found out I slept with another girl before she got pregnant. She lived with me and is now home with her parents. They don't want her to speak or see me, but she calls everynight and even came down to my house last week, and told me that I could never say a word about it because she is not supposed to see me. Last night some drama went down and I called her brother so he could make sure she was OK. He told me that I should find a new chick and if I ever showed my face at the house he would break every bone in my body.(short man syndrome, this would never happen). I didn't talk back i just let him go on and then said I was sorry. Her mom and I have talked at lenghth and I got moto X tickets for her dad last weekend. He very much enjoyed them. What is she feeling? Does she still love me? How can I get back in her brothers good graces?

i have a best friend who is v pretty, confident and quite a lucky person. i on the other hand am more cynical and pessimistic. but she is quite selfish...she never wants to hear anythin about me...she goes on and on 4 ages about her life and when i mention anything bout mine i get 1 word answers. its got to the point where i feel uncomfortable mentioning anything. id understand it more if she was the insecure 1 but she has a gd job, shes in a proper relationship...so i dont understand. recently i met someone and bein a girl its natural 2 chat 2 your mates about it..but as soon as i mention it she goes straight into a full on discussion bout her own love life. does any1 have any ideas why this might b happening? i love her 2 bits but dont feel like i can confide in her anymore & isnt that what best friends r 4?

Your wife (age 46) and you (age 45) are just finishing up dinner in a resturant, nothing fancy. Your mother calls, who just happens to be on her way to where you live and is from out of state. (You and your wife know that she is expected - just not what time). Your wife has been having some issues with her drinking; too much, too fast, frequently, staying out late, calling off work, creating problems, having phone numbers of other men, men calling and leaving messages and on and on. So knowing that your mother is just down the road, and having finished dinner and paid the bill - you would expect your spouse to leave with you - correct? She doesn't leave with you, tells you she'll take a taxi home and ends up showing up at midnight (7 hours later), drunk! Say this happens once every 2 weeks, once every 3 weeks. Guys do you tolerate this? Girls would you do this? She has a problem and "will not" face it! Girls/Guys what do you think of "drunk" women sitting on a bar stool? TU

There is this guy that i like at school that I want to ask out really bad. I am too scared to go up to him and just say
WILL YOU GO OUT WITH ME?
That probably won't do anything but scare him off. I have never dated anybody before and everytime I ask somebody I get turned down.
On occasion, I may see him in the hall. My friend told me that he told her that he thinks I'm pretty. I don't know what to do here. I can't just let this one slide b/c next year when he goes to a different high school than me I won't see him ever again.
I just don't know what to do.

I have been talking to this guy for a couple of months and we really like each other but he recently told me he "has a girl" only "he doesn't love her like he loves me," yet he's still with her. (Bastard...lol. sorry) B/c of this, I started talking to a guy who really seems to like me & I like him, but I still cannot keep the other person off my mind. I have turn downed tons of guys, from the hot jock to the dorky nerd. And for the guys I do say yes to, i end up dumping them after a month or so. It's not that I find something wrong with each of them, its just that I don't feel comfortable being with them. Is this like a commitment problem or something? and we are always silent even over the phone i asked him it i was boring he says no and i do believe him caused i come up with a lot of ideas to talk about. He is not a talkative person. nearly a week ago, my boyfriend broke up with me. he's never really trusted me and we have always had arguements about rumours about me and other guys...ive never EVER cheated on him. people have never spoken well bout me cos of things i did in my past (some true some lies) a month ago he confessed that he had cheated like a year ago cos he thought that i did the same. but i ended up forgiving him. and we were great together! cos for once he trusted me. a week ago we started talknig bout the guys i had been with, and things i had done, which were quite embarrassiong so i just denied everything i got really nervous, and he "caught me". now he hates me and thinks im a lying *****. i regret it so much, but i had my reasons. now he doesnt believe anything ive ever told him. and ive only lied on my past! i sent him an email 4 days ago explaining everything, saying sorry and that i really loved him. i really really love this guy, and wud do anything to b with him. please help!
