I have a controlling girlfriend (who liked romance at the start), then we had a fight and she is withholding romance. I want to know if she is going to withhold it forever?

i love how you guys always turn things around.
have you apologized for the fight? even if you weren't wrong, it take two to argue. is she still upset about it?
romance doesnt start in bed, it starts in your day to day life. try being nicer, try being helpful, try picking up a teatowel and helping with dishes, try taking her out to dinner, and not to 'hooters', try being romantic in your everyday life, get her tea for her, bring home a flower for no reason, show her you care and not just when you want some.

Well what do you mean by romance? sex? or just the lil things?
I mean some women who are controlling usually cause the men to withhold romance just like my bf does i was controlling for a while and it changed him now he doesnt do the lil romantic things he did once upon a time and it hurts me now all he says is its just not him to do the lil things so i ask myself then who was that i fell in love with 3 yrs ago>?

No, she just thinks that she is going to teach you a lesson, and personally... I think that she is wrong. If I was your girlfriend, and we had a fight, I wouldn't hold my goodies from you, I would simply talk to you about the situation, explain what made me mad and ask you not to do it again. And then we make up. By withholding the puddin', will make you wanna go out and get it from someone else, and then you have anothe problem to deal with.

If sex is used as a weapon in any way (ie - as a way to tell you you have pissed her off rather than her telling you straight out or as a way to get you to do things you wouldn't do without the threat of no sex) then she is not being cool - she is manipulating you.
My advice - find a different girl that doesn't use sex as a tool like that. Ultimately, sex is not so important to be worth changing your behavior to get it or to avoid not getting it. The girl as a person you love might be, but sex with that girl should never be a good enough reason.

I think it depends on what "romance" means. You need to appologize, again and again. If it doesnt work...than you tell her you need the "romance" and if she doesnt tell you what it is that she needs from you to get over it, than you will find the "romance" from someone else... why stay in a relationship that makes you miserable, when you have done everything you can do?

if she is that controlling then she is perfectly happy to with hold until you give in, and once you do you are toast, because she knows what button to push, I would seriously think about if you really want to spend any amount of time with this sort of person because this is only the start not the finish of her getting her own way

It's possible she's not doing it to control you, but rather because this arguing doesn't exactly put her in the mood. Believe me, the more you pressure her the less she is going to feel like doing it.

Nope just long enough to get you to really like her, then her true colors will show and you'll be trapped.....be careful, she's secretely crazy....and she probably wants to eventually controll you and your life,,,,,,,leave her alone......run for the nearest exit and QUICK!!!!

look if she is conrolling then you should leave her now. my man and i have sex 2-3 times a day and we have never gotten into a fight, we have been together almost two years.
