My friend just told me that he likes me, and always has since like last year. I kind of like him too, but would it be awkward dating him since we're just good friends?

not if you two like ea.otehr, ive gone out with a friend before and even though we broke up we both are still good friends, actaully we are practically best friends. so i say go for it.

Good friends are great to date. You already like one another and now have romantic feelings. Awkwardness would quickly pass.

Don't start attributing any special significance to WE ARE DATING. Just take it a day at a time. You'll find that knowing each other was a good thing.

yes..dont risk your friendship over a 'kind of like'
if you really liked him a lot then.. yes go out with him
but its not worth it if you dont really like him that way
