My best friend introduced me to this guy and has known him for 4 years he lives in a different state than me. We IM almost every day and I talk to him on the phone all the time. He told me the other day that if he lived closer he would sooo go out with me and he liked me cause I could be myself. Just a little while ago he is having problems with his family and is really upset. He told me that he just wished someone was there to hold him and tell him everything is going to be ok. I told him if I was there I would and he was like I know you would I know you would. I really like him but I don't really know what he wants me to do or what he is most likely going to do next. Does anyone have an idea of what I should say or do?

Honest opinion needed. should i just give up?
i mean i really like him, last semester in school weve been talking a lot and i really like the way he thinks and what he does. he seems to be the one i could admire and be interested in. but ive been to shy, the day he asked me if i had a boyfren i told him i dont have one cause i dont like to have one when actually i want him, whenever i see him, i just smile, i dont have the courage to talk to him anymore now that ive realized he is something more, i just wish he would understand that it is only through text that i can be friendly, well he is not patient enough, and is not replying at times when i ask questions about philosophy,(his favorite subject) so im done with it,i would just erase his number and move on.
i know im really weird and really scared and i just want to hate him so i can forget him easily, i know he is not that in to me, and for me its all or nothing

Last night at a party I was too shy to approach this guy myself, cause I always think that he could've approached me too.. Even though I had an ''excuse'' to go to him and ask him that I've seen him before at a concert. We had eyecontact and smiled at eachother, but never actually talked to eachother, he seemed like a shy guy..
Anyway, I was too shy to go and have a talk with him! So I asked my friend if she maybe could arrange his phonenumber. She did this when I left the party.. Now I think it was so foolish of me that I didn't go and have a talk cause it really seems childish now and that I don't have any initiative.. So i feel really stupid now!
But she got me his phonenumber! When should I call him and what do I have to say!?

I am currently dating a guy who is divorced. Everything about our relationship is amazing. I won't go into detail but I'm confident he is sexually attracted to me (as I am to him) and emotionally, we share a great deal. In a perfect story, there is always something slightly imperfect though.
If you are a divorced man who has been through this, it would help a great deal.
I've never had a problem turning a man on (it's not so hard, really, no pun intended)... up until now. Well, he is turned on. But whenever the act of sex becomes more real, he backs off. He is unable to perform. He is below the age of thirty so the likelihood of this being a health problem is low.
I'm almost coming to the conclusion that this may be some sort of "post-traumatic" emotional problem he is dealing with from his divorce. He did love her and he was left heart-broken with the unexpected break-up... but from our conversations he is over it completely.
So what can I do? How did anyone overcome this? Help!

My mother in Law is a C**T. She only calls my husband for $ or to be nosey. Never Just calling to say Hi, It is always to say how she wants to kill herself (never made a suicide attempt in the 8 years Ive been around) or to say she needs 200 or 300 dollars. She is 48 and hasnt had a job in 10 years her sons support her. I have put up with this crazy woman for 8 long years, she talks down about me in front of my child and says awful things to my 13 year old step son about me. Like how its my fault his parents split. ( even though I met him 5 years later) I have just had it with her. However he is very protective of his mother. I told him she was a Bit** once and he didnt talk to me for 2 days. Can I cuss her out and tell her to stay away? Is that fair to him? Every time she calls he gets a look on his face like he is instantly irritated. I had to teach him how to live right to have a good life it took me almost 5 years to show him you can be happy she was that bad of a mother. Seriously

Okay the thing is my boyfriend and I have been dating for 6 months and were both 17. He gets a ***** every once in a while but last night I thought I would take a risk. I loosened his belt and I slipped my fingers into his waist band giving him anytime to stop me if he wanted to. But he never did. So I kept on going and I didnt want to take to much of a risk so I put my hand just down his pants not his boxers. Well he was starting to get a b0ner but he wasnt fully there but as soon as I grabbed him he was up. He started breathing really hard but didnt make a sound. As I flet him up (if you want to call it that) he was still breathing really hard but he still didnt make a sound. I mean is that normal?

I need to know your opinion.

My husband and I got into this huge fight the other night, and he ended up going to jail for it. I want desperately to work things out with him, but he's talking about divorce. I am pretty sure that's not what he wants, as I know his family is giving him their opinions. The only problem is he gets physical when he gets angry. Not punching or anything like that, but he does gets pushy.

I believe that if he were to get some therapy everything could work out. What do you think I should do?

They have been going out for the last two months and i get mad everyday because i told him how i felt the first day they went out and now he keeps blaming me because i didn't tell him right away. but when we finally do it. he acts like a ... so should i just end it with him. im tired of feeling used afterwards. when we have a problem he wont half talk to me if we had sex. but if we didnt have sex for a while and have a problem, he tries and talk things out. he still dont change but he does talk it out. he denies even acting like this. he wont change and ive just closed up my heart cuz of it. he talks a sweet talk to get what he wants and then once he has it he goes back to the dont care attitude. if i should leave him how do i do this without losing my mind. im addicted to the relationship and im scared of moving on but this guy is healthy for my mind and soul. as a matter of fact im going to the health food store to get some herbs to calm me down from the stress. what do you think?

I am 13 years old and I am in a musical. Well, I'm in the crew. COSTUME crew. I'm the manager. I have one girl, whos one of my great friends, who works with me. This is going to sound weird but...
when you get married your parents call your spouse "son in law" or "daughter in law" and your siblings call them "brother in law" or "sister in law". Does that sound a little weird if you really think about it? It sounds like you married someone whom has become your "brother" or "sister". Could someone explain to me why this is the relationship you inherit when you get married?

our divorce papers state AS MUTUALLY AGREED for everything. I have kept our two boys in their school, transporting them back and forth, as I feel this has been for the best.
The oldest goes into 6th grade next year and will go to a different school, anyway, and I decided it would be a good time to move him to a school closer to my home.
I have the boys Sun afternoon--Thur mornings, so I'm taking them to school 4days a week.
I want to transfer both boys to a school (a good school) that's on my way to work (K-6) and enroll them into the Boys & Girls Club for afterschool. I will gladly pay for this, of course.
Their father is completely against this. he feels that they should be home with ME, that I should cut my hours in half, and they don't need to be in after school activities like the Club. Tho this doesn't affect him AT ALL and he certainly isn't cutting HIS hours!
I am tired of him trying to dictate this stuff! What should I do?
