She is very independent and does not like Doctors. She has been complaining that her mouth is sore and will not let me take her to a dentist. I can get her to her Dr. for her breast cancer, but she is becoming more and more unwilling to go. She just turned 86 years old. She does not want to move in with me and wants to live in her own home, and refuses to even think of a nursing home.My living in her home would not work out as she doesn't want anyone even looking at or touching anything. My main concern is her sore mouth and what can I do to help her, I really think that there is nothing I can do as an attorney tells me that it is her right to refuse care, I just hurt for her and wonder what I can do to get her to the dentist.

This guy "Jake" and I hung out saturday night for the first time, we went to the park and pushed, poked and had contests on slides. When he dropped me off he gave me a a hug that lasted like 10 seconds.. then after he left he came back and said he lost his phone, after looking in his car he found it, ran back and gave me another big hug. But then at the end of the night i texted him asking what he thought of my looks and he told me i was good.
Do you think he likes me or not?

After my boyfriend moved to Florida (job reasons) I have began to text message him constantly and worry that he doesn't love me any more. My constant attempts of contanting him have driven him away, the exact opposite from what I wanted. (I actually didn't think I was obbsessive until someone else pointed it out.) He tells me he still loves me and that he plans on moving back as soon as possible, yet I still worry and assume.
My question(s) are thus:
How do I calm myself down when I begin to worry and assume he is done with me?
How can I hold myself off to talk to him constantly and wait for him to call me?
Is there anything else I can do? Am I just insane or can I control my behavior?

My ex-husband and I have two kids together. His fiancee and I have had a lot of trouble between us. She seems to want to be my friend though I can't get passed the whole I'm the ex she's the new thing. She will be my children's step-mother within 6 months. I want to give her a fair chance and make certain my dislike of her isn't just the whole you're the new thing. If I were to die, she'd be the only mother figure in their lives. I want to make certain that I can trust her, especially since they are in her care 1/2 time. Would you take her to lunch and have a chat with her to either get to know her better or lay some ground rules about the kids? What if you found you liked her and could see the two of you being friends? What would you do then?

What do I do after the first step? It would be a very simple divorce because we have no children or assets. I was interested in a very quick and cheap divorce. I have tried to save my marriage but its not working.
