It was Christmas time and the Christmas tree lights were up downtown. So I took my girlfriend that time to a fancy restaurant downtown and after that went on a carriage ride and I surprised her with flowers. And after that I took her to a hotel room I had rented and I had it filled with roses petals all over the room. And in the middle of the bed I had bought her this diamond ring that she once mentioned that she wanted when I was with her at the mall one time and we were just still only friends.

Well the following date was staged but it was still romantic. I took my then gf on a horse drawn carriage ride through the historic French Quarter down in New Orleans. We had dinner at one of the plantations. Then we went for a walk on the levee along the Mississippi river. Okay here comes the staged part. I left an old bike leaning against a tree earlier that would be on the path we were going to be walking on. So when we approached the bike I acted like it was a surprise to see it. I then suggested we go for a bike ride. With her sitting on the handlebars we went riding along the Mississippi river.

We cooked dinner together... joked around and talked while we worked side by side. We ate dinner and had some wine. We kept gazing into each others eyes and flirting. After dinner we went and layed in bed together; both laying side by side on our backs staring at the ceiling and holding hands. We stayed like that and talked for four hours. It seemed like mins. Then we watched a really funny movie while laying in bed holding each other really close. Then we made love the rest of the night. The next morning he took a shower, then i took my shower. When i was finished he came into the bath room while i was fixing my hair etc. and started fixing his hair as well. This bath room was small and we were sharing this mirror for one, so he was almost touching me the whole time. That was really romantic and sweet. I had never shared a bathroom with anyone like that before... i really enjoyed that. It was a night i will never forget, and it was spent with a man that i will never forget.

This is a hard one have had loads of great dates. I would have to say the longest was one where we went for an early morning balloon ride over the Napa Valley with strawberries and champagne for breakfast. Then we went to a local fair and just acted like kids together the whole day. The day ended with a late afternoon flight to San Diego where we had a nice dinner cruise off the coast.

We had a candlelight dinner with soft romantic music playing. He stopped eating and asked me to dance. He held me close and kissed me on the forehead. We then had a candlelight bubble bath together. It was truly romantic.

my guy pulled an extra cliche but it was fine with me...he threw some pebbles at my window and begged me to come with him somewhere. then we got on his motorcycle and drove around all night and then we went back to his place (and yes he got lucky.lol) then we made pancakes at like 2:00 in the morning and watched our favorite tv show reruns. i still get a smile on my face when i think about it...simple but very us.lol.
