I've been so stressed out in the past month or so because of this. The only reason I haven't blown his cover is because the affair is done, and I have one brother a couple years younger than me who id on't want to hurt, alongside my mom of course. I'm 21 btw. I'm also in university and need to get top marks in the next 6 months or so to move on to graduate school, and I know this distrubance if let out might sidetrack me. Is this selfish of me? I'm just continuing to carry the burden, waiting for some of my schooling to finish.

If she was with someone for over a year and then found out that he had been seeing someone else for the past 8 months? I just don't get these chicks. The only reason I can come up with is desperation. What do you think???

One of my best friends just told me the guy that I had become email buddies with isn't real. It was her and she had just pretended to be a guy because one of her friends had done it and she wanted to try it. I'm really mad at her for this, but she did the same thng to another one of her friends so if I act mad & the other girl acts like she thinks it's cool then I look like I'm overreacting.

I really do like him alot. he is alot of fun. and sex is great! but my friend keeps telling me its lust because we just see each either and enjoy having sex. i guess i can say that we both see other people i'm not to sure if he sleeps around, but i dont, he is the only guy i had sex over year ago. and we also talk about having a baby. because i want one. and this time i might be pregnant. the only thing is that i m scared because he had told me that night that we had sex. If i would want him to tell me if he goes out with other girls or for him to keep it to himself. now like i said i might be pregnant! I just dont know what to do. i was very upset that night, because what can i say since i was not his girlfriend. HELP!! ADVISE

Ive been emotionally abused by my "christian" husband for 10 years, is the abuse affecting my judgment? Im doing things I normally would have thought sinful or wrong. Why isnt Gods love and the love of my children enough for me?

For many years and still today, women have become the life and blood and spiritual leaders of MOST families. According to the bible, Men are supposed to be the great leaders of the family. What happen?

I want to know what you think. This is an actual scenario. I don't know the family. The parents say there was no abuse, that their child is just evil. What do you think? Can a five year old be born evil or did something go wrong after birth and in the home? Nature vs. Nurture is basically the argument.
How do you know which one it is if the family is saying there was no abuse?

What is the minimum age at which you feel it is socially acceptable for two people to be married? (If theoretically you condone the match in all other senses)

Please no commentary about how marriage is a meaningless institution anyways or how everyone should wait until they're 25, etc. Just minimum age of social acceptableness.

Ok I have been dating this guy for 2 months. I really care alot about him and I know he feels the same way. He has practically said everything BUT I love you. He tells me all the time how he likes me so much and cares so much for me. That I'm his "everything", etc...lol....mushy kinda stuff. So I feel like I love him. I know sometimes it's hard to tell but I really do feel this way and I'm thinking of telling him. Do you guys think it's too soon?? I was thinking of waiting til Valentine's Day b/c that will be 3 months that we have been together. Any ideas of a sweet way to tell him?? Unless he ends up telling me first of course....?? lol Ahhh!!

My crush and I are both on msn right now ( we're not talking) and I just had this idea to listen to the song " Put it on me," by Ja Rule featuring Vita and Lil' Mo, when the weirdest thing happened. My crush put that exact same song on! It's just too much to be a coincedence, I mean, we both wanted to listen to the exact same song at the exact same time. It's an old song to, nobody really listens to it anymore. Could this be some sort of sign, what do you think?

My fiance informed me that he was addicted to pornography when we were getting to know one another. Now we have been together for 3 years and I have been suspicious of his activity on the internet, he continued to say that he was not doing anything. I found out otherwise recently and confronted him. He said he is not bored (which he stated also while getting to know him) that he "get's bored easily." So do "all" men "just look at pornography just to"look" or should I be concerned? He has told other little white lies as well. However, he is attentive, consistent and I do not want to throw in the towel, but should I trust him enough to marry him?

11 months ago i ran into this guy and we really hit it off.I was still bitter about catching my ex of a few years cheating(they r mutual freinds)he listened and understood,he drove me home that night and i invited him to stay,i asked him to sleep in the bed with me,he did,i asked him to put his arm around me,he did till i slept,he was such a gentlman.things were awkward when he left the next morning,a mutual friend told me he liked me but was freaked out by my ex(who was trying to get me back)i saw him again 2 months later,he came to me and said"your killing me"my ex was also there and freaking out that we liked eachother,so i left where we were and this guy called me and told e i was so beautiful and asked me to go out on his boat in the summer.i sent him a text a couple weeks later and he never replied.I saw him at a party 6 months later,he walked in saw me and looked away quick.later in the night we made eye contact and smiled.i still think about him.

So, I really like this guy, let's call him Bob, but he didn't even really know who I am until last night when I called him to tell him I like him. But a bunch of other girls like him too and I'm not sure that I can compete with them. He's not dating anyone right now, but the girl he's liked most of the year now thinks she kinda likes him too. Two of my friends like him too and I don't want to hurt their feelings by possibly snagging him when at least one of them doesn't really have a chance (he said so himself---he just wants to keep her a friend). He's really sweet, but we've never talked until last night. We talked for about an hour and a half and I like him even more than I did 24 hours ago.
What should I do next? My friends think that I should just take my time and keep my hopes up, but I don't know if I should act or take things really slowly.
What do you, the Answers community, think?

My husband and I are trying to decide on moving to Colorado. We currently live in Arizona, where my family is. I love living near my family, but really don't want to raise my future children here. My husband's family is in Colorado so we would have a support system there also. I would like to know how people that were close to their families felt about moving away from them. I know I would get to visit them and they would visit me, but I am sure that is not the same.

I am totally upside down over this girl who told me she just wants to be friends. In most cases I would agree that moving on would be the best course of action.
Here's where it gets complicated. She's been hurt in the past and now has issues when it comes to getting emotionally close to people. For example, she only chases after emotionally unavailable guys. You know, the kind that you can't have a real relationship with. Since I'm not one of those guys, I'm not her ideal candidate. But, if she only wants to be friends and isn't interested in me romantically, why is she willing to spend the night with me in my bed? Nothing has happened thus far, but am I wrong in thinking that it might? Do I hold out in the hopes that she'll warm up to me and develop feelings for me or do I cut her loose and keep her at a distance?
Help me please!

I need some advice. I've been hangin around a girl for a little while now. I love hangin out with her and going places with her. She has been hurt by the other guys shes dated in the past. She says they have just eventualy slept with her and then left and hurt her. I don't know what to do now tho. I do like her but I havent had sex with anyone ever yet. If I knew that I could go out with her without the pressure to be 'next' for her, i would in a second...I don't want to be hurt if I slept with her and then she left me. I do like her, and I think by me not making a move yet, she thinks im not interested. I don't want her to leave, and I am interested but I dont want to be pressured into something im not ready for and I dont know where to go from here.
