I had to put up with the harassment of my husband for the last 9 years. He used to get drunk at night and abuse me for not treating him with respect or admiration or about my character. We are now married for 13 years and have two kids who both of us love equally well. He never did any job and sold away all his assets for family expenses and mostly for his liquor. We were seperated twice for a brief periods of two to three months. He always came begging for another chance to change himself. He never really changed his mode. I felt very depressed and I feel very sorry for him toobecause he is a pauper now though I have assets of my own. A classmate of mine gave a lot of moral support during this time through emails and on phone. Soon I really fell in love with this guy. This guy is also married for the last 14 years and loves his wife and kids. He is actually in US. My husband atlast started working a couple of months before this affair started and we more or less stayed together.

I don`t know, but i want some one sit near me and share love with me. my heart demands it. i am unable to meet my heart requirements because i am much shy and afraid of. I am Ph.D student and I also working as Research Associate in my department but still I am alone. no one has ever showed interest in me. same i have not shown any interest in any one. but still my heart demands it. A wife saves herself until marriage. Her husband doesnot appreciate or respect her virtue. disrepects it with vulgarity. (she didnot know he is like that-was sort of arranged marriage so they had not talked abt sex).

Wife is regretting abt giving herself to this man. She wishes she wud have given herself to a better person (in marriage) who wud have appreciated her virtue. Feels married a horrible human being.

What to do with the immense regret abt giving her self and abt something that can't be undone?

Some will say get over it. But she can't.

I met one girl in the university last year and we became very close to each other. I became so addicted to her that I could never realise when i started loving her. And I was so hurt when 1 day i told her about my feelings and she replied that whatever hapenned in our relation was for fun. I stopped keeping in touch with her after I finished university but she tried to contact me a few times. If your answer is no. how to get girls parents together to make this decision in their own interest & girls interest and stop the menace of dowry and dowry deaths/related harassment.

I carried on a life long experiment with my own daughters and nephew and nice.
I made them understand the value of dignity of labour and allowed them to do all their works including washing their cloths dishes etc. Treated all of them equally. Gave them yearly budgets and gave them this money as 12 monthly installments to mage their financial affairs.The aim is to build self confidence that they can manage.
