Should my father invite my mother to the wedding? And if happens in the long run, should my mother invite them?

depends on the relationship they have or don't have.....up to them and the new brides feelings....

Not a good idea. When this happens it often cause problems at the wedding.

If they have a good friendship and a respect for each other... why not ? my ex came to my wedding reception, brought his girl and had a great time. It was actually very sweet to be able to look at each other and smile and wish each other the best

Only if they have a good relationship and the new wife doesn't mind if she minds then he should not because that is her special day and shouldn't be ruined but if everyone is cool with it i would say go for it....
