Why keep them apart at all, especially friends and family? Casual lovers are probably best kept private (or maybe known to just your closest friend(s)) but if it's a relationship person (romantic) then no reason why they cannot cross paths with both friends and family as well.
Trying to live 3 different lives would be too hectic and exhausting, and would seem as though you were ashamed of or hiding all other people in your life from each other.

If you can't stop feeling the way you feel for her, you will just have to give in to love. That's just how it goes, you can't stop your heart from feeling what it feels. You are both quite young but who knows where things might leas, you are both turning into adults soon and you might find more possibiliets to be together. Untill that time, call, e-mail, text, write each other. Use webcams, try to meet up whenever you do get the chance. It's not easy, but if you really fancy her and maybe even lover her, it's worth more to have her in your life but from a distance then to not have her in your life at all. Good luck.

The only ones i would keep pretty far apart is family and lovers. After a while, a pretty good while, if things are going good, you can start to bring them closer. But if you are in a good relationship and plan on spending your life with that person, these 3 things should all go well together.

I guess it depends on the various people. In my life, I am very close with my family (maid of honor in my cousin's wedding, fro example) and my BF is very close with his also, so we end up doing lots of things with our families. I reall y like that, but I could see it wouldn't be for everyone.

I don't fully understand who your talking about keeping them from.
But if its your lover or spouse....you have to share family with him/her. Friends...I think he/ she should know atleast a few of your friends, you don't need to tell every single thing about anyone. and lovers........keep them in the past.
If your just dating and have other lovers too I'd say he/she has a right to know...because of the diseases out there.

well that is on a need to know basis and some people just don't need to know. I keep nothing secret, if asked i tell but i keep nothing from my husband. My husband is my soul mate, my confidant , and he is who i share my life with,.

You first have to give priority to your immediate life's needs, then you accommodate in the sequence that you want all others.

I don't think you should. People that do that usually are hiding something.
