Most families around the world are missing good caring Fathers. Why?

For many years and still today, women have become the life and blood and spiritual leaders of MOST families. According to the bible, Men are supposed to be the great leaders of the family. What happen?

you have to realize that mortal men wrote the Bible... there are other books and scrolls written by women out there that were not placed in the Bible because back in the times of Jesus women were no better than an *** (donkey) the only reason marriage was ever invented was so that Man would not be alone... and Men had many wives back then... if a man wanted a woman to marry all he had to do was pay her father with farm animals..

but I do have to say that I wonder to this day why women cherish the Bible so much because it only stripped women of their rights and puts women down... but then again the ten commandments are the only moral laws left to live by... Just think where we would be with out it... I

but we as women have allowed the men to step out of their children's lives .. and we as women have been the ones telling men that we didn't need them to help do anything... and men being men didn't want to argue so the men stepped aside and said (yes dear) you are right.. I'm worthless and not worthy of anything except being a sperm donor and a childsupport check .... Men just didn't want to hear it so they allowed women to do what we have done... Now we as women are (upset) because we have trained men to be worthless... and in-turn we are training our children that as long as daddy sends that child support check each month that that is all a man is suppose to do with his children.... and daddy has to pay to have anything to do with his children and the children suffer because of it... the so that is what our fatherless children are learning from moms and dads today...and daughters are growing up to be like their money hungry moms and sons are growing up to be like their worthless absent fathers....

You know, not many will say this, but... I think that it is due largely to rap music, and the black culture becoming mainstream. Blacks are widely known to dump their families, and to impregnate multiple women as well. AND for taking no responsibility at all for them. Not all blacks, but the inner city ones that rap their way through life. And it has spilled over onto all other cultures. This post will likely be deleted as I have surly insulted a lot people here, but IT IS THE TRUTH! Take a look at how fast the American way of life has deteriorated in the last 40 years. Since the "Equal rights movement". Check it out, you will see I am speaking the truth. I do not wish to offend any one. But it is the TRUTH!

I agree with you. And it is really sad... Maybe they do not understand the meaning of having children and how responsible they are for every child they bring to this world. They think that a mother can do everything alone and cover their absence... But unfortunately things are not like this. A child may have some 'problems' in the character or in the behavior etc because it has missed his father's hug, care, support when needed...

How could a man not want to take care of those who respect him and follow his lead?

Think about how many thousands of years a man could beat his wife and children and get away with it. Now it is illegal. Although society expects a higher standard of behavior from men, has nature given us the self control to rise to these new expectations?

Of course there are other issues, like womens equality that have made it easier for a women to get by without a husband, and the decreasing tolerance of violence against women which make it harder for a man to control his family through more 'natural' methods.

I for one admit that I have impulses that I have to control. I have never hit my wife or cheated on her, but I am flesh and blood. It is difficult sometimes to be a good husband. Other men might not be able to control themselves as well as me. And society is less tolerant of their digressions as it used to be.


Our cultural expectations are evolving faster than our genetics.

I am not sure where it went wrong. if it was when womans rights were fought for , or if it's because so many are raised without fathers, that they feel they don't need one, or if the fathers think my dad was not there for me , so why do I have to be for mine. I do know it's a shame, and if more dads did take an interest in there child, maybe we wouldn't have so many troubles we do now. They don't have to marry the mother, or even speak to her, but they should feel proud to take care of there child and give them the love and nurturing they need by both parents.

Because guys these days dont' have to live up to their responsibility. Apparently that and they really just don't know how. To many things are allowed to "SLIDE" these days. It's not just a father thing though. Many fathers have the families to take care of on their own. In these cases the mother is the irresponsible one. How any of the people can do that to their own children rather it be the mother or the father has me totally baffled.

I think that a lot of women push men away......I think largely due to the feminist, "I don't need a man!" mentality. Women have been decieved into thinking that not only CAN they do "everything" but that they SHOULD do everything. The great brainwash, my husband and myself call it.

because men just want to have sex for pleasure and they don't want to deal with the responsibilities and they sometimes deny the baby or just leave and never return. because after a guy gets what he wants he'll will call you a slut.
but fathers don't really recognize how much their children need them.
