One of my best friends just told me the guy that I had become email buddies with isn't real. It was her and she had just pretended to be a guy because one of her friends had done it and she wanted to try it. I'm really mad at her for this, but she did the same thng to another one of her friends so if I act mad & the other girl acts like she thinks it's cool then I look like I'm overreacting.

Tell her that it sucked that she would play such a prolonged joke on you like that. If you can't express how you feel who's to say that she won't do other things like that because you never complained before.

Who cares what the other girl feels like, you feel betrayed and you should. She was so wrong to do that to you. I would tell her exactly how I felt about what she did and remind her that a friend wouldn't have done that to a friend. She just played with all of your emotions and that is not right at all. I hate to say this but I think I would have kicked her @ss. But then two wrongs don't make a right. Definitely tell her how you feel.

Yes you should tell her, this is so wrong to do someone this
way. This is not a joke, unless she is the joke. I don't know why
that some one that does that could even say they are your friend
I think that is just being cruel. How would she like this done to her? I think it would be a little different if some one did her this way.

well if she's your best friend, you should be able to let her know that it was lame of her to do that. i'm pretty sure she didn't mean to hurt your feelings - she probably just thought it was funny and doing it gave her a little confidence boost for being able to trick you and get away with it. if you don't want to sound like you're totally overreacting, add humor when you confront her.

Her actions were immature and uncaring. Juvenile! You don't say how old you are or she is, but if she if old enough to email, she is old enough to know better. Tell her she betrayed her trust and let it go. Get some new friends! You deserve to be treated with respect.

I would tell her, definitely! Anyone that is a true friend doesn't do that to their friend. That's immature, mean and just says that she's a freakshow. You don't need people like that in your life.

If she's a true friend then she should be able to handle you telling her how you felt about what she did...plain and simple. If she feels your over-reacting, then how dear of a friend is she to you?
