if you are a U.S. citizen and knew some1 (from another country) who would pay you $20,000 to have a fake marriage with you (just so that he can become a citizen, and stay in the united states) and then later divorce you--would you do that?

would it be a big hassle? i heard it takes up to TWO YEARS for the person to get a green card--i guess that means you will be married for the next two years.

you will not have to live with that person..or have anything to do with them other than take your money (deal with the amount of time before they become a legal citizen) and then leave.

for $20 grand...would you do it?

I've tried everyhting I can think of but my wife is still a #$!^!&!! She can tell me everything that's wrong with me and what I need to do and the moment the phone rings and it's her girlfriend (or anybody else) her whole attitude changes. She becomes pleasant and thoughtful. Then afterwards it's back at me again. There's a WHOLE lot of other stuff involved too she does/has done.We've been together almost 20yrs. and I CANNOT STAND HER! I know it's been a long time but I'm dying (spiritually) and need something better in life. ANY advice folks?

I was given up for adoption when I was born but have always had some info on my parents (mainly just there names). I have looked randomly online for any info to find them with little or no luck since I was about 14. Well recently I confirmed my father had died but out of the blue the past week I have found out where my mother lives and I don't know if I should contact her or not. My adopted mother died recently and I have no other family so I want to but I have bad feelings about pursuing her so soon after my adopted mother has died. Or if she would even want me contacting her. What should I do?

She broke off with her BF 6 mth back.

That was the time i get to know her from my former crush. She was devastated then. I promise my ex crush i will make her stand up and move on. Finally or rather apparently she move on.
I wake her up everyday for work.

Then i realise i fell in love with her.

I ask her if i go after her do i stand a chance.

Her reply: She is happy the way she is now and Tentativelydont wish to have any changes. For future she dont not know.

I ask her whether is it a total rejection.

Her reply: I told u already. Now i dont wanna commit anything.. Future i wun know.

I guess she still brood over the past.

Do i stand a chance for THE FUTRE or m i being rejected?

She said something about me in a forum and It came back to me.I asked her why she did that and she started a long term verbal abuse calling me among others, layong *****, scum of the earth.Her children don't say hello to me anymore and she convinced everyone else in the family she is all good and I am the laying *****.She humiliated me in public and all I had left to do was to leave the place and it seemed like I was running away.She acts like she is better than me all the time.She puts me down everytime.My husband is on her side. Always has been.Family is family he says...I try to avoid her and my husband's family as much as I can, but he is very family oriented and pushes me to be with them, acting like nothing happened.That affects me terribly, now more than I am 4 month pregnant.They seem to have no problems acting out.I can't do that.I wish I could erase her out of my life but I keep finding her out on the streets, she treats me like dirt but smiles and kisses my hubby .

We're inviting roughly 175-200 guests and expecting 125-135 to attend. The wedding will be nice, but simple--buffet dinner, very small favors, etc. We're a little older (28 and 29), so we have a lot of basics, but we'd like to have a few nice things--not expensive, necessarily, just things that match and don't have stains and all of the other issues you have when you're two graduate students who've bought everything secondhand over the years. I want to give people options, so that even if they're shopping last-minute, there will still be a variety of items left on our registries, but I also don't want to look greedy. Honestly, I don't care if people buy us gifts, but I know they'll want to, just like I want to buy gifts for my friends and family members because I love them and not because they're expecting it. My question is about numbers, but, in a larger sense, I want to know how to make our registry reflect these ideas. Suggestions?
